but the pièce de résistance?

Here’s a look BTS of how we brought @emilynicoaradesignstudio x @thematroomstudio to life

Vision: “Unreasonable Hospitality” (a must read) and the art of feeling beautiful in home and body

Mood board: nature inspired, intimate, hosted at Project 1994

Procurement: thank you to @509wood_builds for making my dream table a reality. Huge thank you to my amazing husband @andrewcurtis77 who sourced so many of the details and helped me prep the house. Thank you to our marble fabricator for making these marble paperweights a reality.

Event details: from the drinks provided as guest arrived in vintage glassware, home tour, tailored workout, 3 course meal and all the in between we wanted to create a seamless, intentional flow.

Thank you to @bypavoi for the most beautiful workout sets, @indiebeautyandwellness @katelynns_skincare for the salon gift cards, @abogabir_portraits and @sigma.imagery capturing the evening and the community of girls who came to support @thematroomstudio and @emilynicoaradesignstudio

At the end of the night I sat down and had a second to be present in the moment. I captured a video (see last slide) that captured the essence of the night. Candlelit conversations, laughter and new friendships, being present, community and the art of the slow down.

Over the weekend @thematroomstudio @emilynicoaradesignstudio got to host a beautiful group of women to celebrate living beautifully in body and in home.

We talked about the importance of spaces not just the ones we live in but the ones we create within ourselves. Romanticizing every corner of life and feeling beautiful in every space you move through. It is not just a look it is a feeling.

As we move from summer to fall we are embracing the slowness the stillness and the beauty in every detail. At The Mat Room we want this to be your third place. You have home you have work and then you have The Mat Room. A space to feel grounded strong and connected.

Thank you to @emilynicoaradesignstudio for so beautifully curating and designing this experience, to all the incredible women who joined us and filled the space with connection and conversation, and to @indiebeautyandwellness for gifting each guest a pampering experience at her spa. Thank you also to our videographer @sigma.imagery and photographer @abogabir_photography for capturing it all so beautifully, and to @bypavoi @pavoiactive for the stunning sets.

Here is to living beautifully in body and in home.
