The leaves are settling into the soil. The mornings feel more brisk. The ocean ebbs and flows with a new fury. The fury of fall and an approaching winter.  The darker evenings invite us to settle in. The sunsets and sunrises glow with a unique hue particular to this season.  Amongst it all- I feel a settling in. A settling into fall, and to the coming winter.  I feel the building of nourishing fall practices. The way my body craves warming foods and relaxing movement like yin. I feel the way dance classes pull me from my cave and bring me back into community.  It’s a settling that is very nourishing. And a settling that knows that beyond the horizon of this fall and winter depth- is growth.  It really is a beautiful in between. A time to be with the transitions and just enjoy the pause. And even, the darkness. I would love to invite you to reflect- what does settling into this season look like to you? How do your mindfulness and movement practices shift? What kind of movement is calling you? If you feel called to share- send your response- we would love to hear what’s shifting for you as well! ——— Speaking of transitions: in our expanding dance and movement studio you will see more barre and more pilates on the schedule along with some very fun dance classes! So if you find yourself a little too cozy in your den needing to peek your head out and connect with community- we’ve got you! Meet Coach Audrey! Audrey has been Coaching at OTF Capitola for about 8 years! Known for her great playlists, her bubbly personality, and her love of dance, you’ll catch Coach Audrey hyping you up during class. Whether that’s with a fist bump, or words of encouragement, you WILL get those splatties! Audrey dedicates her life to fitness, and members consistently ask her how she stays so fit. She is a dress up Queen, always getting into the spirit of events we throw in studio, and has a great themed class every month. As a body builder herself, she squats super heavy, and can help you do it too! Outside of the Studio she is a dance instructor, beach lover, and loves a good spa day at Refuge! This last week we’ve officially said see you later to that leftover summer sun. We are welcomed by lovely foggy and misty mornings. With this shift many of us may be wanting to spend more time indoors. Those outdoor activities we loved in the summer have shifted as we layer up.  This is a beautiful time to take a look at our movement practices and see what feels most aligned in this new season.  Find ritual and routine in sacred movements practices that ebb and flow just like the seasons.  So if you are looking for somewhere to bring movement into your cozy fall days-we have a special place for you in our sanctuary.  This fall we are welcoming new classes and even teachers to our schedule! It is an exciting and buzzing time in the sanctuary.   In our expanding dance and movement studio you will see more barre and more pilates on the schedule along with some very fun dance classes! It may not be beach weather anymore but its a great time to get cozy, do some yoga, or come move and groove with your community!  See you soon! -—— With love and devotion, Pleasure Point Sanctuary WHAT’S COMING UP THIS WEEK:     🎶 Soul-Nourishing Kirtan with Jordan Loder & Madison Strohauer on October 12th     💆Thai Massage Workshop with Temple of Touch on October 17th WHAT’S COMING UP QUICK!!:     💪Welcome back Elizabeth Charlton to Pilates Mat Flow Mondays and Wednesdays starting October 19th!    💪NEW CLASS-PILATES FUSION with Renee Menard Tuesdays starting October 20th     🌎NEW DANCE CLASS-WORLDANZ with Audrey Stanley Tuesdays starting October 20th     🩰NEW CLASS-BARRE FUSION with Kelsey Lettko Wednesdays starting October 21st     💃NEW DANCE CLASS-LATIN FUSION  with Renee Menard Wednesdays starting October 21st      🤰Postpartum Nesting - the Ayurvedic Way with Eliza Veta on Oct 24th     🌕 Full Moon in Taurus: Deep Rest & Nervous System Reset Sound Bath with Peggy Bascou on Oct 25th
