Congratulations to Softball Junior, Mickayla Tosch AKA “Sarge” for being named this year’s female recipient of the Iron Shocker award at The Wheaties!

The Iron Shocker award goes to the student-athlete who displays an exceptional commitment and intense work ethic while training in the weight room. The nominees all share the uncommon ability to attack each training session with a positive attitude, focus and willingness to push themselves and their teammates to new heights. These student-athletes understand the importance of each training session and the impact it has on their athletic performance. Through their energy and effort, they set the standard and define the Shocker Way in the weight
room.

S/O @pison and @baseballscienceguy for working with @goshockersbsb and @goshockerssb ⌚️

Looking forward to testing and training cognitive performance measures and seeing how reaction time and decision making impact on field performance 🧠🧐

As we all know, the game is far more than just raw physical or technical abilities. Appreciate @baseballscienceguy for always looking for ways to bridge the gap between potential and performance.

Vogel Pulls using Full Rack Safety Straps angled to pull the barbell across and a Utility Seat in front of the knees to hinge off. You can also use a barbell in front of your knees but this is a more optimal setup, made possible by the 4 way hole system.

Saw @audry.horn for Wichita State doing these and liked the idea. Great posterior chain builder, with an emphasis on lower back and hamstrings/glutes without using a single use machine.
-
Our safety straps remove with a hitch pin making them very easy to adjust while being more sturdy than many other options.

What exercise setup do you want to see setup next?
