We’re constantly buzzing and on the go as small team, so we’ve really enjoyed a chance to slow down last week! Our evening out together involved….well (no surprise here) craft!!

A workshop is such a good option for organisations for rewarding staff, teambuilding, seeding creative approaches. Follow or contact @craft.ni for workshop ideas near you and meet some of NI’s many talented makers.

Thank you @alison_lowry_glass for welcoming us in your lovely studio 😊, fused glass coasters were made and fun was had!

They have all been fired and are ready to go home. If you were one of the 80 children who made a snail at @wwtcastleespie for @augustcraftmonth26 in conjunction with @craft.ni and @dccireland

The love I felt from everyone neighbours, friends my daughter & son in all their amazing support and help was just unreal.
I've been flat out getting the Studio ready along with other things and am still tired but its a very happy tiredness now that the big day is over.
I have SO many beautiful happy memories of friends making new friends and everyone just getting on and enjoying the day.
I'm actually looking forward to the next event whenever that will be 🤣🤣 since this 1 went so well.
I'm so grateful for the people who bought and commissioned work from me. I'll be busy making Butter Bells for a while and delighted they're a success.
You can still enter the draw to win the beautiful 'Glaslough' Green one I've been posting about, by just buying a piece of my work. Your name gets entered each time for each piece you buy, whether that's a magnet for €5 the cheapest item I sell or even the reduced priced items of which there are still a good few remaining!!
So, feel free to call by, call me first on 086 3907042 to make sure I'm in and I look forward to meeting you and to the good times ahead 😘🎊✨️🥂🙏

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support my Open Studio and Pottery Sale at the weekend as part of @augustcraftmonth26 . It was so much fun meeting and chatting to you all!

I finished this piece live during my demo on Saturday, and seeing how much you all loved getting a little peek behind the scenes has inspired me to share more of the messy, unedited studio process here. So... consider this officially my nudge to myself to post more often!

Let me know in the comments what parts of the pottery process you want to see next - trimming, glazing, or maybe more wheel demos? ✨

What a wonderful craftmonth workshop we had this morning, Thank you so much to everyone for being here. This workshop was part of the @corkpotters clay trail !
We explored the land through clay, shaping simple bowls and building rich, earthy textures inspired by the coast, the fields, hedgerows, and harvest time. Using wild‑clay slip, ash washes, and natural marks, each piece became a small landscape .

We had a great day at the artisan craft fair in Stuarts hall, Co.Tyrone for the all Ireland sheep dog trials. Such a great event to be part of in a beautiful setting, a highly recommended day out for the family.

A few clips from today's workshop🧼🌼

We created beautifully scented soaps from scratch. I started explaining some theory, a demonstration of the soap-making process, and then everyone had the chance to create their own unique batch.

We used ingredients from @thesoapery 🫶

This time, we had attendees joining us from Co. Armagh, Co. Cavan and Co. Leitrim. It was a good day 🙂‍↔️
