I used to believe fitness was only about building muscles, looking good, and becoming stronger.
But as I grew in this journey, I realised something deeper...

𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙩𝙝 𝙞𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙢𝙪𝙘𝙝 𝙬𝙚 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙩.
It is about being able to:

❤️ Carry your own groceries
❤️ Play with your grandchildren
❤️ Walk without fear of falling
❤️ Wake up every morning with confidence

I have seen too many adults slowly lose their independence because they stopped moving, stopped training, and believed that ageing means becoming weak.

But I believe something different...
𝘼𝙜𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙖 𝙣𝙪𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧.

𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙗𝙤𝙙𝙮 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙚, 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙩𝙝 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙩.

That is why I became a Senior Fitness Coach.
Not just to help people look better...
But to help adults move better, feel stronger, and enjoy life with confidence.

Because the best years of your life should not be behind you.

6 YEARS AGO — A SMALL BOY WITH BIG DREAMS.

I thought building a better body would be the hardest thing I ever had to do.

I was wrong.

These 6 years taught me that the hardest battles happen outside the gym too.

Competition prep taught me discipline.
Life taught me patience.

I’ve experienced the long, painful days of prep — training when I was exhausted, controlling every meal, pushing through when my body and mind were screaming for a break.

I’ve lost competitions.
I’ve faced humiliation.
I’ve questioned myself.
I’ve had moments where people didn’t believe in me, didn’t trust me, and probably didn’t see what I was trying to build.

But I kept showing up.

Then coaching taught me something even bigger:

Building a physique is one thing. Building people is another.

Every client, every struggle, every person who trusted me with their journey made me realise that coaching isn't just about sets, reps and calories.

It's about helping someone believe in themselves again.

And building a community made me understand that trust isn't something you can demand.

You earn it.

One session.
One person.
One result.
One promise kept at a time.

This year made me look at life differently.

I’m not only chasing a better physique anymore.

I’m chasing growth — as an athlete, as a coach, and as a person.

6 years ago, I had nothing but a dream.

Today, I have failures, lessons, scars, achievements, people who believe in me, and a community I’m proud to build.

And the funny thing?

I’m still that same small boy with big dreams.

Just stronger now.

Not because the journey was easy.

Because I refused to stop when it wasn’t.

6 YEARS DOWN.
STILL BUILDING.
STILL HUNGRY.
STILL NOT DONE. 🏋🏻‍♂️🔥

𝗙𝗥𝗢𝗠 𝗙𝗘𝗔𝗥 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗚𝗧𝗛. 💪
This is Viren’s experience after 30 PT sessions with me.
His words 👇

“ As someone who have gone through a procedure for Inguinal Hernia (left), getting out from the fearful mindset of possibilities to get another hernia (right) was a challenge.
I was told to not do any heavy lifting again and that I should avoid exercises involving weights which was depressing.
Without much expectations, I spoke to Coach Danny and was hopeful things could improve, and it did.

Coach Danny was not only able to assess my condition and the extent I could go during my first PT session with him, he was able to advise and guide me throughout the 30 sessions to truly improve my strength, confidence and even a body transformation that I never imagine I could achieve.

He has a good grasp of his clients’ condition and gives workouts which you can do accordingly, as he has done for me in dealing with inguinal hernia.
I have learnt much from the sessions with Coach Danny, going in with 0 knowledge relying on the words of the doctor and coming out with the ability to do leg extensions (60kg weights 😀) and understanding the right habits to build up.
I can only be thankful for the experience, the community of Woodbox and to Coach Danny for this.”

Not simply to help someone lift heavier.
But to help people rebuild strength, confidence and trust in their own body.

Thank you, Viren, for trusting the process. 🙏🏻
Progress is possible when we train with the right approach, patience and consistency.

𝗪𝗛𝗬 𝗗𝗢𝗘𝗦 𝗗𝗢𝗠𝗦 𝗣𝗘𝗔𝗞 𝗢𝗡 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟮–𝟯 𝗔𝗙𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚? 🏋️‍♂️🔥

Many people believe:
❌ “Muscle soreness happens because of lactic acid.”
❌ “More soreness means more muscle growth.”
But science says otherwise.
𝗗𝗢𝗠𝗦 (𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗱 𝗢𝗻𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀) happens because your body is repairing and adapting after a new training stress.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

⏱️ 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟭 (𝟬–𝟮𝟰 𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗦)
After a hard workout, muscles experience microscopic stress, especially from:
🏋️ Heavy weights
🔁 High volume training
⬇️ Slow eccentric movements (lowering phase)
The repair process begins, but soreness is usually not at its peak yet.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
🔥 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟮–𝟯 (𝟮𝟰–𝟳𝟮 𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗦)
This is when soreness usually feels the strongest.
Why?
Because your body increases:
🧬 Repair signals
🔥 Inflammation response
⚡ Pain receptor sensitivity
Your muscles are not necessarily getting “more damaged” — your body is increasing the recovery process.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
🔄 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟰–𝟱
Your body continues rebuilding and adapting, preparing your muscles for future training.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥:
✅ DOMS = Your body experienced a new stress
❌ DOMS ≠ Guaranteed muscle growth
Real muscle growth comes from:
💪 Progressive overload
🍗 Enough protein
😴 Proper recovery
📈 Consistent training

Train hard.
Recover smarter.
Build stronger.

𝗡𝗨𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗜𝗦 𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡 𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 “𝗘𝗔𝗧 𝗟𝗘𝗦𝗦”
Want to lose fat? Build muscle? Stay strong as you age?

It’s not just about calories. Your body needs the right nutrients to perform, recover and stay healthy.

🥩 𝗠𝗔𝗖𝗥𝗢𝗦 = 𝗙𝗨𝗘𝗟 + 𝗕𝗨𝗜𝗟𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗕𝗟𝗢𝗖𝗞𝗦
Protein helps repair and maintain muscle.
Carbohydrates provide energy for training and daily activity.

Fats support hormones, cells and long-lasting energy.

🥦 𝗠𝗜𝗖𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗨𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦 = 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗕𝗢𝗗𝗬’𝗦 𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧 𝗦𝗬𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗠

Vitamins and minerals are needed in smaller amounts, but they help with metabolism, immunity, bones, nerves and many essential body processes.

🔥 𝗙𝗔𝗧 𝗟𝗢𝗦𝗦 ≠ 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗚
You need an energy deficit to lose body fat — but eating too little can make training, recovery and muscle retention harder.
The goal is simple:

𝗘𝗔𝗧 𝗪𝗘𝗟𝗟 → 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗡 𝗦𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗧 → 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥 → 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗬 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗧.

You don't need a “perfect” diet.
You need a sustainable one. 💪

📚 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗬 𝗧𝗜𝗣: Think of nutrition as a system — calories determine energy balance, macros support performance and body composition, while micronutrients help your body function properly.

𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥 𝗜𝗦 𝗔 𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗡𝗚𝗘. 🔥

Not just another competition.

This year I’m stepping into a new chapter…

@hyroxmas 🏃‍♂️
Testing my endurance, my mindset, and my ability to keep pushing when the body starts to break.

@fif__international 💪
Stepping back on stage to showcase the discipline, sacrifice, and years of dedication behind the physique.

Two different battles.
Two different challenges.
𝗦𝗔𝗠𝗘 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗛.

This journey will challenge everything — my training, recovery, discipline, and mentality.

But this is exactly why I chose it.

Because the best version of yourself is created when you step outside your comfort zone.

Let’s see what version of myself I can bring to the stage. 🔥

𝗥𝗣𝗘 𝘃𝘀 𝗥𝗜𝗥: 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗨𝘀𝗲? 🧠🏋️‍♂️

Training hard is important… but knowing your intensity is what creates progress 📈

🔥 𝗥𝗜𝗥 (𝗥𝗲𝗽𝘀 𝗜𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲)
“How many reps do I have left before failure?”

Best for:
✅ Beginners
✅ Muscle growth
✅ Learning proper intensity

Example:
10 reps done + 2 reps left = 2 RIR

🔥 𝗥𝗣𝗘 (𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻)
“How hard did the set feel?”

Best for:
✅ Intermediate & advanced lifters
✅ Strength training
✅ Adjusting daily performance

Quick guide:
🌱 Beginner → RIR
⚡ Intermediate → RIR + RPE
🔥 Advanced → RPE

Remember:
𝗗𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱. 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁. 💪

Save this for your next workout 📌

I became a coach because I experienced what training can truly do — not just to your body, but to your strength, confidence, mindset and quality of life.

Over the years, fitness has taught me one thing:

“𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸.”

That’s what I want my clients to discover.

Whether you’re starting from zero, building muscle, losing body fat, getting stronger, or simply wanting to stay active and independent — your training should have a purpose.
