THE SANDMAN

My piece from @auradanceco show, “As the Light Changes”

Inspired by the whispers of mutiny, change, and revolution that only occur at night, The Sandman works to keep us asleep as we fight for consciousness and autonomy. “The night gives rise to revolt.”

AS THE LIGHT CHANGES
Getting to be on a stage again was so fun! I truly am grateful to @leatucker_ for the influence she’s had on my life since I was a kid. The detail and work she puts into anything she creates is inspiring. Getting to be on @auradanceco this year was needed in more ways than one and I’m grateful to have experienced it with some amazing humans. It’s more than just steps or cool dances, it’s the stories and intention on this company that sets them apart from everyone else. Just a few glimpses from the show, more to come🤍

@auradanceco season 3 !!! 🥹🥹

What a gift this company has been. When I first auditioned for Aura, I never could have imagined everything I would gain from it. Lifelong mentors, peers, friendships, and memories. Words can’t begin to describe appreciation I have for this company and these people. I have learned to fall in love with dance over and over again. A couple of weeks ago was our show and it was everything I could have asked for and more. I am so humbled and honored to be a part of something this special. I will cherish concert week forever.

@leatucker_ thank you for everything. I am forever grateful for you and constantly inspired 🤍

Three years ago, I walked into @auradanceco not knowing how much it would change my life.

It’s hard to put into words what these past three years have meant to me. The people, the artistry, and the experiences I’ve found through Aura have shaped me in ways I never expected, and I’m so grateful for all of it.

I’m endlessly grateful to @leatucker_ for trusting me with her work and for the light she has brought into my life. Her vision has shaped not only the show we created, but the people we became through it.

Some things never really end. 🫂
