Ceangailte Exhibition for Culture Night✨

Join us tonight on Culture Night at Nano Nagle Place to experience Ceangailte, a thought-provoking collaborative audiovisual installation. Also being displayed in Berlin on the very same night!

Through immersive visuals, sound, and sculptural elements, the exhibition explores themes of colonialism, resistance, resilience, and connection.

We are excited to announce something special this week. 'Ceangailte' will see its second outing, this time exhibited contemporaneously in both Cork and Berlin, linking the two cities in a single simultaneous event. We are delighted with this opportunity, not only to foster this connection between the two cities, but also to symbolise our relationships to both the place the two of us come from and to the city in which the idea for 'Ceangailte' was first conceived.

Both Culture Night in Cork and Unframe Festival in Berlin harbour similar values in solidarity and a desire for change, which the work reflects. The installation will be exhibited this week at Nano Nagle Place in Cork, 18-20th, and at CANK in Berlin, 17-20th of September.

To mark the occasion, we will also set up a live video stream between the two venues as a small symbolic gesture towards the connection, embodied in both the work and these simultaneous presentations.

We're thrilled to bring 'Ceangailte' to Cork for it's Irish debut, and for anyone who didn't manage to catch the show in Berlin during the 48 Hour Neukölln festival back in July, now is your chance! We hope to see you all there.

Artist Jonna Hansen (@jonna_hansen97) discusses the launch of her first publication, Cosmic Beauty: a virtual fashion collection for non-human bodies 💫

Jonna creates highly detailed work, merging 3D modeling techniques with photography to create surreal and otherworldly beings. We are honoured to have worked with @ifa.berlin to bring @quadrature.co's work to the @futuriumd in Berlin!

Marking IFA Berlin's kick-off and the start of a partnership with @berlinnewmediaweek, 3AM:ENERGY worked to curate the right artists for the venue and occasion, negotiate artist fees, facilitate communication, and ensure the artists had an easy setup time.

We also paired a 3AM:ENERGY artist in our mentorship program to work with Quadrature, who have shown around the world including most notably at Ars Electronica, and learn how they conceptualized and built SCOPE, a immersive installation for one person dealing with topics of AI, space colonialism, and speculative futures. Thanks @auratyk for the assistance!
