Selfie Saturday? Sure! Why not? 😂I'm home resting for the day, just kind of taking it easy. The girls are with their Grandparents, I didn't get out of bed until after 10am, though I was awake well before that. Working on one load of laundry at a time and trying to convince Austin we just need to sit back and binge watch something on Netflix.
And I'm really happy, too. I've had this denim jacket for a couple years now, and up until just a few weeks ago, it sat in the back of my closet, never being worn. But I think I'm finally figuring out how to use it, and I really like it!

What's in your cup this morning? ☕️ Who needs more of whatever it is? 😴 I know I'm going to have to crack open a Rockstar this morning! Emily woke up super early because she was so excited to see if the tooth fairy had taken her tooth yet. 😁
Only problem with that, once I'm awake....game over. No more sleeping for me.
I'm so excited for this evening, because it's our monthly @theblogbloc mixer and I can't wait to go surround myself with all the amazing, creative, wonderful people!

We had dessert for dinner tonight @ricksdessertdiner . I had a slice of white chocolate strawberry lemon cake! Wow! So good, and had some cookie dough ice cream on the side. Emily tried her first cream puff, Alyssa had Oreo Cheesecake. Austin and our friend Kathryn had something yummy too, I just don't remember what the names were.
I love the atmosphere of this Dessert Diner, there's always good music on and the desserts are awesome!
Emily was enjoying every last drop of her ice cream.

Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there!
It's also Sunday! Which means Farmer's Markets! But first! A stop by @dutchbroselkgrove to grab our drinks and a Dutch Dad sticker for Austin!
Today we made the rounds (can you call it rounds if there's only 2 stops?) and went to the Elk Grove Farmer's Market and the Midtown Market.
Awesome fresh produce today, beautiful flowers, great honey and wonderful chats with the great people who are out there.
We picked up a jar of @solabeehoney 's new Wild Blackberry Honey - so yummy! Emily said it's even better than the one we got last week. Then we had a fun chat with our favorite coffee vendor - @dogs_drink_coffee
Well, lots of fruits and veggies to clean, prep and put away. Then trying to stay cool on this 107 degree day.

We decided to take a quick BART ride into downtown S.F. before we head over to the beach. BART can be pretty loud, especially in the tunnels, and Alyssa doesn't seem to like it very much, but of course big sister was there and ready to comfort her.
I think it's funny too, that I love riding BART when in the Bay, but don't ever ride public transportation at home.
But it's kinda awesome cause I can be on my phone instead of driving! 😂

I shed a little tear this evening. Emily has been wanting to get her ears pierced for some time now, and we've gone and checked out earrings and Caire's a few different times, but she would decide she wasn't ready. But tonight she decided she was...and she did a great job. The ladies at Claire's made her feel very comfortable and double teamed her so she didn't have to go through two separate pokes. Emily is so excited and I can barely keep her away from the mirror, she just keeps looking at her earrings. Of course, we had to get Cold Stone after. 😁
