𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐞 🌊 ON TOUR

To, Newcastle, NSW for Impact Dance Festival on 30 August.

At the edge of the world, where the land holds its breath before slipping into sea, three girls dance. The cliffs of Coalcliff rise behind them, ancient, silent witnesses, while the salt wind threads through their hair like memory.

A work about place, memory, connection and the stories held within the landscape.

With just under 10 days to go in AUSTI’s Australian Cultural Fund BOOST campaign, we’re reflecting on the vital role our organisation plays within the community.

For over a decade, AUSTI has been creating pathways for artists, fostering connection, and bringing bold, contemporary performance experiences to the Illawarra and beyond. Our work extends far beyond the stage, supporting emerging and established artists, engaging young people, and building a thriving, inclusive arts ecology grounded on the Country of the Wodi Wodi people.

This campaign is about more than funding, it’s about sustaining a creative home for our community, where ideas, movement, and stories can continue to grow.

If you’ve been thinking about supporting, now is the time. Every contribution helps strengthen the future of independent and community arts in our region.

All donations over $2 are tax deductible.
