FREEDOM for JAX!!!

Jax has left the San Bernardino, CA shelter 20 min ago.

He is on his way to our vet for a full nose to tail eval. Once we know what is going on with him medically, we will be posting updates.
Thank you to everyone who supported & tagged us to help him.

Yes — even Dalmatians end up in shelters 🥹

We spoke to @austynliston about waiting over fours hours in line to adopt Twilight, and why she felt like the perfect fit from day one 🖤

Thank you @austynliston

Who wants to meet for lunch and a walkthrough of the show while I’m in town?!

Repost: @austynliston

If you know of schools or other groups in the area that would be interested in booking field trips to view this exhibition, you can book classes to have a see-art, make-art field trip with me or other teaching artists like me at armoryarts.org

This exhibition is on view at the Armory Center for the Arts in Pasadena through August 1st, 2026. I’ll be making videos about some of my other favorite works in the show soon. ❤️🍍

✨ **They’re back—and they’re brilliant.** ✨

Meet the **2026 Cohort of the Top 50 Educators**—a group of educators whose experience runs deep, whose knowledge is hard-earned, and whose impact is undeniable. These honorees have poured years into classrooms, communities, and students, doing the real, often unseen work that makes education move forward.

From innovation to advocacy, from joy to justice—this cohort represents what happens when expertise meets purpose.

👏 Join us in celebrating the educators who remind us why this work matters.

Thank you to the artists featured this Fall at @occthedoyle. It’s been inspiring to enter into the gallery this week. There’s a sense of awe, wonder, and care to each piece. For this who missed it, visit the gallery to see the “Split Ends” group show; and @juanmgomezvisual solo show “Within the Chaparral.”

Mom life trying to make my toddler smile! @dakotanoot curated such a powerful, inspiring and playful show that I feel overwhelmed with appreciation to be included in! I was so in the moment that day I really did such a poor job taking pictures of all the amazing pieces and amazing artist there. It felt like being in a group of friends! Love finer arts and all the amazing people making it! This show is up till November 20 and so worth seeing next to @juanmgomezvisual considerate and beautiful show!!! @occthedoyle song has no connection just came in my head when I started loading pictures! Haha I’m also terrible at tagging! Sorry if I missed people too!!!

Opening during Pasadena ArtNight 🎨🌠, 'Sanctuaries' is a group exhibition composed of Armory Teaching Artists, where artists expound the meaning and imagination of the true and metaphysical sanctuaries that co-exist as protection, agency, preservation, and healing. Through painting, textile, ceramic, photography, riso, and mixed media, each artist shares a personal inquiry into the inward and outward meanings of sanctuary, exploring transcendent, environmental, and personal relationships and tracing how sanctuary can be a tool for transformation.

Featuring Ronna Ballister, JT Bruns, Rachel Curry, Austyn de Lugo-Liston, Sandra Gallegos, Ruzanna Hanesyan, Sergio Hernandez, Heather Hilliard Bonds, Gail Howland, Ed Leonardi, Matt MacFarland, Brandi Mack-Khalfani, Simone Montemurno, Elonda Norris, Julieta Reynoso, Joe Sanchez, Allison Segura, and Dajin Yoon.
