Started July with a plan and pivoted about five times, including going on an unexpected trip to California and shooting a nighttime parade for the first time.

As I’m gearing up for my bday weekend, I wanted to reflect on this past year. 33 was a year of coming home – to places, to people, & to myself. I moved back to San Diego, traveled near & far (Palm Springs, San Francisco, Vegas, SO many LA trips, & even made it to the motherland for the first time to explore my grandma’s hometown in Taiwan, which was so surreal & deeply special). We went to a LOT of events (Comic Con, Monsterpalooza, Rose Bowl Flea, Cinespia, When We Were Young, & so many more). There were countless movie nights with our cinecultclub, D&D dice rolling & mini painting, feeling ancient at emo shows, endless vintage shopping days, fancy dinner dates, & months spent making our house a home full of magic & love.

So many moments that reminded me how lucky I am to live this life filled with the things & people I adore. Grateful for everything 33 brought me & excited to see what 34 has in store. 🖤✨✨
