We teamed up with @avalanche_chronicles_comic to illustrate 5 reasons why using tech when planning just makes sense.

Modern planning has changed. Avalanche forecasts, weather windows, 3D terrain, slope-angle layers, runout zones, route ratings, and shared route knowledge are all in your pocket now.

Mike calls it “decision support"
Toby calls it “killing the vibe”

Needless to say, your phone won’t ski the line for you. And it surely doesn't replace field observations or gut feeling. But it can change how prepared you are before you even arrive at the trailhead.

👇 How do you like to plan? Pick one and comment below!

A) Weather first
B) Route options & Plan B first
C) Terrain & slope angle first
D) Avalanche problems first

And what’s your non-negotiable “must-have” app feature for a tour?
