Happiness is finding a place where you can be fully yourself. Where nature reminds you to slow down, your spirit feels at home, and the work you do feels meaningful. Some places you visit. Others make you feel like you belong. 💛 Feeling grateful to call Kripalu one of those places. Maybe this is your sign to find your place, too. #Kripalu #FindYourPlace #AutumnMagic #PersonalGrowth #KripaluRetreat

I’ve never told this story here. For twenty years I had the great honor of stewarding one of the most extraordinary visions in music. I loved that life, and the people in it, and I’d live so much of it again. I was also disappearing inside it. It took losing my hearing for me to finally listen. Only afterward did I learn I had chronic Lyme. What came after that was slow and unglamorous. First the decomposition, then a body I could trust again. I’m not writing this from a finish line. Cuz 🌀 I still catch myself leaving the room inside my own life. The difference now is that I notice sooner, and I come back. Coming back and loving myself is the practice. Today I partner with artists and visionary leaders carrying work bigger than the inner architecture to sustain it. I help them become equal to what wants to move through them. I call it Creative Liberation. If one of these slides is your life right now, tell me which one. #creativeliberation #artistlife #visionaryleadership #embodiedleadership

This weekend was a blissful abundance of melanated spiritual practitioners and healers - I got the chance to present at @blackyogateachersalliance 10th anniversary conference “Still Rising” and support the launch of @flowwellyoga My heart is full - not just to be able to share sacred sound and talk about how yoga and meditation formed the foundation for my stroke recovery but to be in loving community. Blessings upon all who I had the privilege to share space with, laugh with, hold space for and play for - I do not take for granted the blessing of being alive and being of service.
