Sometimes things don’t go the way we want them to. This season has been nothing if not difficult and painful. Every week was a fight to be better than I was before, and often times it felt like I was losing. It’s shown me that I can’t have done any of this without God by my side. While I hit some pr’s and won some meets, I know I could’ve done so much more, especially when it counted the most. I can’t thank Nixa track and field enough for an amazing 4 years and I can’t wait to see how the next 4 go down in Auburn. Again, sometimes things don’t go the way we want them to, but looking back on all the good is more important than the bad we endured along the way.
