Parents Weekend at Colgate with our Avery and the lacrosse team! I always wish I took more pictures but we were really enjoying our time together 😍 loved hanging with all the guys and their families! It was so fun meeting Avery’s friends and getting a glimpse into their social lives on campus. This crew knows how to have a good time! While I miss my bubby so much, I find comfort in seeing how happy he is and how well he has adjusted to college life 🥹 The Colgate Lacrosse family is beyond anything I could have dreamed of! So excited to be a part of it ❤️ Go ‘gate!

I left part of my heart in Hamilton today. Avery is officially a Colgate Raider. My heart was feeling 2 things at the same time today…..an aching pain of letting go and bursting with pride of the man my baby has become. Watching Avery the last 2 days was the absolute best! We got to attend a team BBQ where everyone got to hang together….players, coaches, parents and family members . Avery already has the best crew to figure out college life with! It was no surprise when he decided to stay at school on Saturday night! Getting to see him meet his roommates and begin those relationships was so special. He got so lucky with not 1 but 2 really nice guys to live with! I couldn’t help but smile through the tears as he found ways to meet people everywhere we went. Watching him naturally start conversations with people so easily making friends was something I will never forget! I can’t thank him enough for letting me set up his room how I thought it would be best ☺️ he let me be extra in every way! This is now his home away from home and I know he is going to be so successful! I can’t wait to watch you live out your dreams on the lacrosse field, excel in the classroom and figure out life along the way! Never forget how much you are loved @avery_valenti4 and call me anytime! I miss you already bubby ❤️

Congratulations Team Johnston/Bramoff/Cosley 💰💰2026 Nilly Champions 🏆 It was so fun watching these boys play together! Avery got to play with his Sweetlax Navy teammate Jackson, his soon to be Colgate teammate Camden, several of his Long Island Express buddies, and several other guys he has gotten to know over the years from club lacrosse. What a talented group of guys! Can’t wait to see what you all do at the next level! #6 loved watching you 🩵

Avery leaves Pittsford Lacrosse as the All Time Leading Scorer! Talk about leaving your mark 🐾 He accomplished this incredible achievement as a midfielder 🤯 For my friends and family who don’t know lacrosse, the attack are typically the highest goal scorers not the midfield.

In 7th grade, shooting 91mph, Avery won the fastest shot contest at the World Series of Youth Lacrosse. While I don’t have his exact shot speed today, I know it’s well north of 100mph! I don’t think anyone will ever forget your goal against Webster Thomas this year that you shot so hard it went right through the net 🔥 (scroll to see videos 🎥)

Avery has always been a team player. He would dodge to move the ball more than he ever shot the ball. He loved trying to make the right play not just score a goal himself. There were many times he had to be told to just shoot the ball! He often said “I don’t care who scores the goals! I just want to win the game!”

Well bubby you scored a lot of goals to help your team win a lot of games! I can say, without a doubt, you left it all on the field! I’m so proud of you @avery_valenti4 🐾 Congratulations #14

🎓Pittsford Mendon Class Of 2026 🎓 Congratulations Avery you did it!! I felt all the emotions today watching you become a high school alumni. You excelled in the class room and on the sports fields. You have made me so proud ❤️

I’m so glad I have a hard time getting rid of things because it was really fun walking down memory lane as I pulled out all your jerseys from soccer, flag football, tackle football, youth basketball, youth baseball, youth lacrosse, box lacrosse, club lacrosse, high school basketball, and high school lacrosse. So many camps, clinics, showcases, prospect days and tournaments attended. So many championships won and accolades earned. So many special memories in all of these things. You really did a lot in the last 18 years!

It’s official this chapter has come to an end! I can’t wait for you to begin your next chapter at Colgate. I love you so much bubby! You’ve got this! You are so ready! I can’t wait to watch all that you will do in the next 4 years 😍 Boy did they get a good one!! Go ‘gate!!!!
