Playing a huge role in two victories, @avila_wsoc's Cali Lasater has been named the KCAC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week!

HC Katie LaForge: “Cali has been absolutely electric for us this season. Her relentlessness, creativity and ability to find the back of the net have been huge for our attack. We love the energy she brings every time she steps on the field and this honor is incredibly well-deserved!”

Lasater is currently tied for second in the KCAC with eight goals this season and has 19 goals and 14 assists in 36 career games.

Another senior game, a shutout, a SIU!!! and just a fun afternoon at the Z. I would say my favorite, was Coach K, fielding 11 infield players to start the game for Avila University Women’s Soccer . #3 can brag that her collegiate record includes a shutout in 100% of the games she started as a goalie 🤣🤣🤣
Here are a few of my favorite moments.

It was a monumental Senior Day at The Z for @aueaglessoc & @avila_wsoc on Saturday as both programs got wins over Sterling.

-It was the first women/men doubleheader sweep at The Z since Oct. 2024.

-Avila women extended their winning streak to three and their unbeaten run to six with a 6-0 victory.
-Of the five attacking goals and four assists in the women's game, seven were accounted for by seniors.

-Avila's men got a dominating 5-2 win off a hat trick from freshman James Martin, the first in at least seven seasons.
-Senior Jake Wood notched his first career goal.
-The win was Avila's highest-scoring game since Oct. 8, 2022.
-The program's first win versus Sterling since 2018.
