Turns out... I did, in fact, need to leave my house. 😂

Last night I finally said yes to Disco Alfresco's Necia Night, and I'm so glad I did. Lately I've been in my little cave, but apparently my soul needed loud music, good food, dancing, random run-ins with friends, and a tiny sparkle glued to my tooth. ✨😂

This is cougar puberty, mija. Finding myself again. Saying yes more. Remembering that life is still supposed to be fun.

To all my comadres who loved on me last night... thank you. Y'all have no idea how much I needed that.

And shoutout to @fuegomamiii for the tooth sparkle because clearly this was the missing piece to my personality. 😏✨

They say if you want to go fast, go alone, but if you want to make a real impact in San Antonio, collaboration is the key! 🤝✨

San Antonio isn't just growing; it’s being transformed by the collective vision and grit of leaders who know that community impact starts with a strong narrative and a lot of corazón. We’re talking about the kind of leadership that balances high-level strategy with real human connection.

A massive shoutout to the women making waves through powerful partnerships:

✨ Avianca De La O from Halff
✨ Yvette Tello, Publisher of La Prensa Texas
✨ Laura Garcia, San Antonio Report
✨ Judy Razo & Cynthia Pena, Community First Health Plans
✨ Hot Henrietta, Texas Hall of Famer in Radio

Your commitment to community building shows that we are stronger together. We are so honored to collaborate and share this space with you!

Spent this afternoon supporting Yvette Tello, publisher of La Prensa Texas @laprensatx , as an Impact & Legacy Nominee at the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Women Leadership Luncheon @sahispaniccc . So many incredible women in one room truly embodying what it means for women to support women — women who make space at every table and never exclude others. Those are my kind of people. ❤️

Then spent the early evening with my mentee Avianca @aviously_28 at the inaugural Latido Festival @latidofestivalsatx supporting Llamativa, @llamativaofficial an all-women Tejano band bringing energy, culture, and empowerment to the stage (fun fact my friend award winning @littlemisstnt wrote 🖊️ a song or two!) .

When I talk about women empowerment, it’s never just for one day; it’s every single day for me. Grateful for another meaningful day surrounded by community, culture, and strong women leaders.

And of course… Go Spurs Go! 🖤🤍 @spurs

I tried recording my full day so folks can get a glimpse into a day in my life… because whew 😅

Owning a small business with two little ones during Fiesta week? I deserve a taco 🌮

Started the day at the JV Float Parade → picked up signage for installation for Saturday → headed to Roman’s spring performance → over to PACFest with @laprensatx → then to the warehouse testing lights + equipment for the Fiesta Flambeau Parade with @littlemisstnt @rev_ray_music → quick reset for dinner at Hotel Valencia @hotelvalenciarw with my mentee Avianca @aviously_28 → and ended the night laughing at Cornyation.

Y’all… that is a WRAP 💃🏽
