Fall so far… toggling between beaches, ranches, and farms. Truly the dream 🌾 🌊

But living in the midst of this magnificent nature also means navigating the occasional rising tide, Santa Ana winds, and fires that break out. A reminder to stay adaptable, grounded, and humble in the face of forces greater than ourselves.

Grateful to be safe in our home within our community.

The beauty and wildness. The magic and unpredictability. All part of the package 🤍

Someone has a best friend!

We recently welcomed Teddy Graham Rossi into our family. He turned one earlier this month and is the sweetest boy. We’re grateful to @scgrr for connecting us.
There are many wonderful dogs who need homes, and it’s possible to get a great family dog through rescue.
Southern California Golden Retriever Rescue was amazing. They thoroughly interviewed us, including a FaceTime home visit. They take care to vet both their families and their dogs.
And now the boys are inseparable. Teddy already got a taste of ranch life and is very interested in his horse brother and sisters. And so far he remains a loyal guardian of his human bro.

Welcome home Teddy 🐾🩵

@awaymalibu, you are a gem. One we can’t wait to return to.

Thirteen acres tucked away in the Malibu canyons, where life seems to find a different rhythm.

Mornings began with little feet running to the chicken coop to gather warm eggs for breakfast - the quiet pride of cracking an egg they had collected themselves somehow becoming one of my favorite memories. Days were spent discovering crystals in the earth, playing endless games of soccer in the field, wandering among the horses, and escaping to the wild beaches just down the canyon.

Sunrise walks. Bare feet. Fresh eggs. Horses at dusk. Dinner together. Children running free until the last bit of light disappeared behind the canyon 🤍

Inviting you all into the mountains of Malibu @awaymalibu for a full day of connection, nature, community and nourishment.

Throughout the day we will weave together different experiences and practices all in aim to open up our senses to create an environment conducive to bringing the present moment forward.

An environment where we can lean into what is needed in the moment, not what we think we need.

To get curious, to create, to be open, and be courageous in the discovery of what is wanting to unfold or be shown to us.

This life I’ve been dreaming about and envisioning for many years is fully here. So many pinch me moments- wow this is no longer just a dream. It gets to be my life. I get to tend to this sacred land with horses. I get to be a mother. And I get to do all of this with the most incredible partner. So very different than the life I was living years ago, doubting if this would ever happen.
Such joy to see all the babies together loving on each other.
Our heart held dreams are here for a reason, pulling us towards a new reality. All is possible, one baby step at a time.

Food is love for the soul and vise versa. It makes me happy when I can use home grown ingredients from our garden @awaymalibu and create smiles in the process. This farm to table meal was a collaboration of home grown herbs and veggies along with some delicious wild foraged mushrooms. Everything worked so well together. A cool summer baby gem and golden beet salad with crisp veggies and herb rubbed grilled chicken, topped with some nasturtium flowers and leaves for that pop of color and peppery bite. Accompanied by a rich and hearty pan toasted sourdough foragers mushroom toast made with chanterelle and morels that were simmered in a white wine and cream reduction. Paired with a refreshing home grown lavender and mint infused mocktail.

A Secret Corporate Clients Day Retreat @awaymalibu.

This was my second time working with this client and one of the many reasons I love working with them so much is because their employees fly in from all over the world. If there is one thing I ask when I meet someone for the first time it’s “Where are you from?” It’s the travel obsessed human in me 😆.

I chatted all things tea over a Tea Talk, Tea Tasting, & Tea Blending with folks from India, England, Netherlands, Australia, Greece + more! 🫖🌎

Beautiful and delicious quality food by chef @claracooksla. 👩‍🍳

Thanks to my trusty asSIStant @deidre_nyc_ and to @awaymalibu and @dukecorped for the partnership. 🙏🏻💫
