August Recap, what a month.

First off want to thank @canadapowerlifting and @fqd.dynamophilie for giving me the opportunity to go to those meets, as a Team Canada Assistant coach and a Team Quebec Head Coach. I would also like to thank all the athletes who trusted me on their most important day and for giving me the opportunity to help them.

I knew it would be a challenge, but I did not expect to have this much fun. 3 meets, 2 internationals, total travel time of 96 hours, 54 athletes coached, 36 sessions, 2 World Records, too many medals to count.

A lot of sleep was sacrificed, but I was able to keep the training on track, hitting multiple PRs in warmup rooms after sessions. Can't thank @coach.ken.sthpowergym
enough for keeping me on track with training and adapting what we could during the month.

When I started coaching, I never imagined I could reach this level, but now I know this is where I belong. I thrived in this environment, I want to be there again and again. I'm still learning, and I want to keep growing the amount of experience on the International stage.

Now it's time to get back to the boring life for a week, until I leave again for Commonwealths in a few days. Let's keep stacking those meets now.

Week 2 of this trip filled month, first 700+ total in gym so definitely could have been worst. Not a single lift outside of warmup rooms and im enjoying it so much.
Let's see how South Africa will go now

First Canadian Nationals in the books 🇨🇦

Couldn’t have asked for a better first experience at this level. From start to finish, it was an amazing experience — great competition, great atmosphere, and most importantly, great moments shared with friends.

This also marks the end of the road down to -120kg. I’ve been cutting a weight class since last year — 25kg lost in total, including about 13kg over the last 3 months with the help of @alfred.reformance

Huge thanks to Alfred for the guidance throughout this process. I’m incredibly grateful for the help and for everything I’ve learned along the way — it made a real difference.

After a pretty aggressive cut, I was able to come away with gold in the -120kg category. Proud of the result and everything it took to get there.

This one means even more knowing it punched my ticket to IPF Bench Worlds🇵🇱. Time to reset, improve, and get ready for the next stage.
Grateful for everyone who supported me along the way 🙏

Big thanks to @gabaube.sthpowergym for helping me reach my goals!

Also special thanks to the team Quebec coaching staff and @professionalweakbench for the game day coaching!

Nationals recap - Coach edition

Incredibly grateful for @fqd.dynamophilie @phil.electrique and @coach.ken.sthpowergym for the opportunity to be part of the team Quebec coaching staff alongside @nicocharbonneau1 and @clovishkov . This was a golden opportunity for me to learn and show that I have the skills on the National stage. I believe that throughout the week, I proved it.

Final stats compared to last year:

2025:
2 athletes handled, 1 ATR athlete
2 medals 🏅 🥉
1 International selection
3 attempts missed

2026:
11 athletes, 2 ATR athletes
9 medals 🏅🥈🥉
8 International selections
6 attempts missed

The first and biggest accomplishment of the week is by far being able to secure the 4-peat of best province for Quebec! ⚜️

Alongside this, I was able to pass my National Referee exam, becoming the current youngest @canadapowerlifting National Referee. I am beyond grateful for this chance to help in the community by being present for everyone at competitions.

Being able to see everyone I had seen at 2025 Nationals and even meet a lot of new faces was also incredible. A lot of great discussions, banter and silly antics were also part of the week.

I am so thankful for everyone who I was able to help and of all my athletes, wether present at Nationals or not, for their trust and belief in me, it means everything to be able to do the best job in the world. Extra special shoutout to @gab_pwr for being present with me once again, repping the KSS stuff with him was a very cool moment and I'm hyped to keep improving with him

This is only the beginning, bring on the pressure.

If you also want to shine on the platform, from local to International level, send me a DM to join the team 🤝

Nats 2026 Recap + yap

Nats was an amazing experience, I'm so glad to have been a part of this. I can't lie I definitely put my lifting at the bottom of my priorities list for this competition, I wanted to make sure I could help as many people as possible. Not mad with the result, Worlds will be an opportunity to show up even better.

160kg/352lbs
180kg/396lbs (2)
190kg/418lbs (3)

I can't thank @coach.ken.sthpowergym enough, sad to have not shared the platform with you but provs will come soon enough. @gab_pwr for being the ride or die that you are. Could not have gone through this without our shenanigans everyday. @ax_power @sboissinot1 @johnnyngu_pl for being part of the experience and sharing those ridiculous moments with me. @nick.towsonsbd for shipping me a shirt 6 days out from Scotland 🤝

Another big shoutout to @ron.kilpatrick for our small "battle" during our flight, it was definitely one of my best moments from that day.

Special thanks to all my athletes aswell, without your support and trust in me, I would not be where I am right now. Thank you for believing in me and continuing to push me through all these times.

Next stop is Poland for Bench Worlds to bully @yumalifts into benching 100 and for me to be destroyed by guys who can do 50kg more than me. With that being said, coaching recap to come soon.
