🗳️ A few moments from our Disability Voting Rights Week gathering!

We came together to talk about voting access, share resources, and spend some time with members of our community.

We hope everyone left knowing a little more about their voting rights, the accessible voting options available to them, and the importance of making their voice heard.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, and to RevUpTexas and Living Hope Wheelchair Association for bringing this event together with Sit With Me. 💜

This is what Roll with the Flow looks like. 💜

A park full of familiar faces, new faces, different bodies, different ways of moving—and a beautiful energy.

We’re grateful to everyone who has made these Wednesday evenings at Discovery Green their own. And we’re only getting started.

See you next Wednesday. 🌿

To everyone who showed up for me, prayed for me, encouraged me, helped behind the scenes, and celebrated my graduation not once, but through two separate parties thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am beyond grateful.

This degree may have my name on it, but it represents the love, support, and sacrifices of so many people who believed in me along the way. As a mom, earning this degree wasn’t always easy, but having a village that cheered me on made every late night and every challenge worth it.

I will never forget the kindness you’ve shown me. Thank you for making this milestone even more special. I am so blessed, so humbled, and so excited for what’s next.

Here’s to celebrating dreams, community, and the incredible village that makes them possible. ❤️🎓

This past weekend, we celebrated our founder, Amie, and the vision, heart, and determination she brings to Sit With Me every day. 🎉

What began as an idea has grown into a community where people can create, connect, and participate in ways that honor their unique experiences.

In honor of her birthday, we’d love to continue supporting the work she’s worked so hard to build. If you’d like to celebrate with us, consider making a donation to help sustain our programs, events, and community initiatives.

Every contribution—big or small—helps us continue creating accessible opportunities for creativity, connection, and belonging. Donate at the link in our bio.

Happy Birthday, Amie, and thank you for all that you do. 🤍

A snapshot from Hip Hop Yoga. ✨

One of our favorite things about these gatherings is seeing people settle into the space and make it their own.

No spotlight. No special treatment (besides being the called the ‘VIP section’ 😉). Just people coming together to move, connect, and enjoy a Wednesday evening outdoors.

We’re grateful to be part of a community that continues to welcome different ways of participating—and to everyone who keeps showing up week after week.

See y’all on Wednesday!

We’re grateful for leaders who create spaces where everyone is invited in.

A huge thank you to @afroyogaqueen for her commitment to community, joy, and movement, and for welcoming Sit With Me into these vibrant gatherings at Discovery Green. Partnerships like these remind us that accessibility grows through collaboration, openness, and a shared willingness to learn from one another.

Here’s to building more inclusive spaces together, one gathering at a time. 💛
