The goal was simple: turn everyday grocery shopping into a visual experience that feels fresh, easy, and effortless. Blue again. Put together a collection of designs where blue did most of the talking. I’ve always been a blue fan — maybe that comes from supporting Chelsea FC, so working with this color always feels natural to me. It started with building a brand identity that could translate values into visuals. That foundation mattered. Because here’s the truth: attention is cheap if it doesn’t lead to connection. With that identity in place, bringing the brand to social media became strategic, not guesswork. The goal wasn’t just “pretty designs.” It was to create an experience that feels trustworthy, fresh, and wellness-driven, because women don’t just want numbers, they want reassurance, clarity, and ease. That’s why I leaned into soft pink gradients, paired with clean white space. Pink wasn’t chosen because it’s “feminine”, it was chosen because it communicates care, empathy, and softness. The design was positioned as premium, aspirational, and something modern women would be proud to own. Every detail worked toward one mission: to simplify complexity. Bold typography built trust. Supportive subtext kept the tone approachable. And this matters because attention spans on social media are short, and you only have a second to prove you’re worth stopping for. But here’s the thing: attention is cheap if it doesn’t lead to connection. That’s why for HerCircle, a cycle-tracking and wellness app designed for women, my focus wasn’t just making the visuals stand out. The brand identity had to resonate deeply. This wasn’t about decoration. It was about translation: turning brand values into a visual language that instantly says “we see you, we understand you, you belong here.” I built the identity around three core pillars: ✹ Colors that care. Soft crimson and pastel reds; warm, calm, and empowering. A nod to health and femininity without being cliché. ✹ Typography that speaks human. Clear, approachable typefaces chosen to reflect trust and relatability. Not clinical. Not distant. But supportive, like a friend who knows what you need. ✹ Shapes that connect. Circular elements and fluid forms echo cycles, flow, and community. Every curve and transition was crafted to reinforce HerCircle’s promise: belonging. The result? A brand identity that doesn’t just look premium — it feels like a safe space. Every detail, from the logo to the app icon, was designed to champion women’s wellness and literacy while building trust and relatability. HerCircle isn’t just tracking cycles.
