Sunday of Harvest Huzzah weekend at the @michrenfest was beautiful, all the way around! It's always a pleasure to spend these moments with friends, both new and old! Got to continue collecting potions with my fellow witchy guild members and I'm reminding myself to be better prepared for next year, since it's such a fun game hosted by our Lavender Crone 💜 I'm sure it'll feel like the blink of an eye and we'll be back again 🧙‍♀️👁✨️ thank you to everyone who continues to show me love ❤️ and take a glorious photo together! I'm continuously blessed in so many aspects!

The best jumping photos of the season. (the blooper photos are just as good but I had to narrow it down lmao)

Here’s a reminder/fun fact: I was a competitive cheerleader for 11 years and use to jump super high off the ground for toe-touches, side hurdles, tumbling, etc. I may have to get back into jumping again because it’s super fun and I know I can jump higher if I throw myself back into it.

Still working on remembering to smile while doing the heel clicks. I’m too busy focusing on “you’re old now, don’t break an ankle” lmao.

Thanks to all the friends that joined this jumping side quest each weekend!!

Saturday's Harvest Huzzah at the @michrenfest might've been the best one yet! As the Manifesting Witch, I was able to do just that, and collected some potions from fellow witches in the guild. I'm definitely going to prepare better for next year's potion game, so get ready! 🧙‍♀️ I am so grateful for all of the compliments I received on my absolutely stunning attire ✨️😻 and to everyone who stopped for a photo with me! (Shouting out my mom Pamela Austin for the incredibly generous birthday gift [which was my outfit 😍])

A collection of videos captured during the season. Starts off with side quests, gets silly, inside jokes and chaotic vibes enter, ends with bittersweet and spooky vibes.

Maybe one day I’ll edit all these clips into a movie trailer-esque video. Alas, that day is not today.

Weekend 7: Festival Friday & Sweet Endings.

The final weekend of the renfest is always so bittersweet. It’s full of hugs and laughter and happy tears and “see you next season, I’ll miss you” tears.

I ran around Festival Friday dressed as @spud.the.cryptid and dressed up as the Fools Jamboree on Sunday (whole outfit was inspired by the Delirio del’Arte Professional Idiots themselves). It was really fun bringing the chaos with both looks!

I spent this weekend running into friends both new and old, connecting with some of my favourite cast members and vendors, taking silly photos and videos, taking it all in before the season came to a close.

The final cannon blasted at 7pm, and we didn’t sing Health to The Company until 8pm. It was a magical moment to stay on the grounds well past the setting sun, everyone holding up lights and lanterns to help light the stage for the final performances, to witness all the hugs and tears and cheers throughout the crowd. Just thinking about this final moment makes me tear up.

My heart is so incredibly full of love and warmth. I love this community of people. I love being a lil fool on the faire grounds. I love interacting with everyone. I love crossing paths with the same people throughout the season and seeing how their characters and garb change.

This season has been absolutely magical. 🩵🌟

MIRF is officially over :( wow it doesn't even feel real that my I won't be returning to my comfort place for another 10 months. My life revoles around this festival for 5 months and without it there is just a gap in my life, before the season started this year I was really struggling with my depression and mental health and Ren faire helped distract me from the things happening in the real world around me, in there I could be whoever I wanted and not her judged for things I cannot control. Being able to go every weekend and spend time with the people I care about most and walk out with so many new friends and people I love is so beyond wonderful and I couldn't be more grateful 😢 everyone in Ren faire are the sweetest people I have ever met!! I will definitely miss all the complaints, trinket trading, and dressing up in beautiful outfits, but what I'll miss most is the people and memories I made :( I love everyone lots and thank you for making this a wonderful Ren faire season , and thank you to @encephaleptic especially for letting me cry in their arms when it was over 😭 ilysm and I'm glad I made so many new memories with you.

Probably more than 100 but who’s counting? 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again.

If I haven’t seen you in the past 3 months?
I’m a whole different person now… so maybe it’s time to change that.

“Patchwork Performer” by Benjamin Bertrand

In “Patchwork Performer”, artist Benjamin Bertrand presents the viewer with a masked performer emerging from a dense patchwork of vivid colors, patterns, shapes, and textures. The abundance of competing visual elements reflects the feeling of being surrounded by too much. Yet within that chaos is a sense of humor, imagination, and freedom, and rather than trying to organize or quiet the noise, the performer seems to embrace it. Fragments come together to create a complete identity. Each individual square, pattern, and color represents a separate piece, but together they form the performer and the larger world around them.

The piece suggests that life is not a straight line but a FULL CIRCLE continual process of collecting, transforming, and revisiting our experiences.

You can’t make me. These are my emotional support videos okay? 😘

September takes 1st prize for the most fun I’ve had all year, but October has always been my most favorite month and the years not over yet.

I can’t wait to see what kind of shenanigans it brings. 😘💜✨
