Coming in at the first athlete 🤝coach collaboration post is Brayden Stone who leaves his competition in the dust! He finishes 4th with an 85 second PB at Midway invitational in the big divisions. Brayden Stone is a dedicated athlete who communicates with me often, is a pleasure to coach, and fun to watch grow as an athlete and person. A few things from Brayden.. 🗣️”The meet was large. The temperature was perfect, the course flat/ perfect conditions. We all knew coming into this race that it would be fast. I did not know I’d be in this kind of shape early in season, rather I thought this type of fitness would come later. Nonetheless I felt amazing and everything was in correlation with our plan.” Lotus Running Coaching to Brayden 🗣️ “The Lotus Running Coach is unbelievable to say the least. Last year I ran this race in 17:40 so to come out today and run a 16:25 is 110% because of the training I have been provided. It’s also showed me that so long as I trust my training, the results will come in way better than I could ever think!”

THESE ARE THE TOP TEN MOMENTS OF THE 23-24 SCHOOL YEAR. SCROLL TO THE END TO SEE THE TOP MOMENT! (read description below) 10. CITY BOY WELLS OWNS ❌HITNEY. We could have picked many basketball games to highlight, but it is hard to beat the district opener. Nobody outside of the city limits had Clifton picked to beat the defending district champs. All the doubters were silenced after the tip off. The Cubs ran away with an easy victory in front of the home crowd. 9. Backflipping through Buffalo. After a disappointing loss to the Bison the previous season, the Cubs mauled their opponent and reminded them what happens when you mess with the bell. 8. KING CARL ANDERSON🤴. The Cubs did not disappoint their king on HOCO, the night ended in a routing and shut out of the lowly Rio Vista Eagles. 7. It’s like she never left. Coach H led the Lady Cubs to a successful season capped off by a Bi-District win over Palmer. 6. The Pride of Clifton continued their proud tradition by winning area with ease and going to state! 5. Ray Ochoa takes care of business. After a fourth place finish last year, Junior Ray Ochoa secured second place in the State Meet while lowering his own school record. 4. Clifton Cross County makes school history! For the first time ever Clifton Boys Cross county took a team to the state meet. 3. Riley Finney wins state! After red-lighting his first two deadlifts, all Finney had to do was have a clean lift and the gold was his. What happened next is history…2. The Cubs Basketball team finished out a thriller vs Mildred in the first round. 1. Parker Tunnell rolls out on a halfback pass and delivers an absolute dot to Brody Baggett, completing an improbable last minute drive to beat Elkhart and secure playoffs in week nine.
