Hi, I’m Baasi 🌻 An artist and small business owner from Bengaluru, trying to turn my little art shop into something I can do full-time someday.

I run Baasi.in, where I turn my illustrations and paintings into art prints, stickers, postcards, bookmarks, and little things that hopefully bring a bit of joy into your everyday life. I also take my doodle booth around Bengaluru, drawing live portraits of people at events, weddings, and cafés. 🥹

Right now, I’m building all of this alongside my 9–5. Which means some days are spent working on a laptop, and the rest are spent making art, packing orders, replying to messages, managing my website, and figuring out a hundred other things that come with running a small business.

It’s not always easy, and I’m still figuring things out as I go. But every order, every event booking, and every person who chooses to bring my art home makes me feel like I’m a little closer to that dream.

I hope that someday, I can make this little art business my full-time job. Until then, I’ll keep showing up and building it one tiny step at a time. 🌻

And if you’ve ever been told that making a living from art isn’t practical, here’s to proving that it can be possible.

Welcome to my little corner of the internet. I’m glad you’re here. 💛
