Tonight reminded me of all that cathartism, everything that's cleared up neural pathways & heart valves & soul strings, in my life, to make me live so everpresently in the moment!

Live Music.

A super customised electric acccordian filled sax jazz metal gig, that was beautiful beyond belief.

I won't go into details about the music, but don't miss Ckraft if you get the opportunity to watch them, on their current Indian tour. Bombay on Thursday.

My last few memories of Delhi were the Jazz Yatra-ish Festival, and Megadeth! Eons ago....

I thought, I felt, I loved..... again.

Writing with people you’ve just met can feel daunting at first. Once you’re in the room, it often becomes one of the most useful things you can do as a songwriter.

If you’ve only ever written alone, this is a good place to start.

More details are in the post. There are only 12 spots, so apply to join the Dōjō through the link in our bio.

🌊 SoundDrift Season 2 EP #6 🌊
Saturday, 17th October | 7:30 - 9:30 PM | Mirador Mandrem

Two artists, two worlds tonight.

@azaankhan1988 (live): co-founder of The Loft, Goa – plays a live ambient set leaning into downtempo and IDM. A classically trained multi-instrumentalist who found his way to electronic composition, his sound is hypnotic, warm, and deeply considered.

@nori.kori (live) : returns to SoundDrift, drawing from her upcoming album Infusion - downtempo, dub, and ambient textures shaped by her roots in reggae, Indian percussion, and sound system culture.

Come lay around and just be. 🌊

₹500 at the door, all goes to the artists.

——

SoundDrift is our intimate ambient electronica listening space at Mirador Mandrem: a place to slow down, listen deeply, and just be present with music and each other. Now in Season 2.

Our upcoming week at Mirador is looking pretty nice - it is quite music focused but they all have a different level of immersive listening involved.

Come thru and experience one of these events at our space.

We had our first Listening Session a few weeks ago, and this is a little look at how it went.

Everyone brought a song, we listened, talked about it, and got to know each other along the way.

Come join us for the next one, happening on Friday, 9th October :)

August was a blur and that’s why this photo dump is happening in September 😏

1. Actual launch of @thisis_blur
2. @allaboutmusicin for @billboard.ind’s first fireside chat (where a very sick @preetnayyar and I survived the annual AAM flu)
3. First songwriting camp with @amplify.india
4. @baileyinkeralam’s farewell
5. Misc moments featuring Tofu and Toffee and their disciples

That was a lot, now you can wake me up when September ends 😴

🌊 SoundDrift Season 2 EP #4 🌊

Saturday, 12th September | 7:30 - 9:30 PM | Mirador Mandrem

A special double bill of artists for this one.

@jucksty plays a fully improvised ambient electronica set – hardware synth, drum machine, and bass guitar. Relaxing, introspective, human.

@dotjng (Jose Neil Gomes) brings thick piano and guitar layers through an intricate pedal board, laced with live violin looping. Drawing from funk, soul, R&B, classical and jazz – rhythmically dense, harmonically rich.

Come lay around and just be. 🌊

Minimum ₹600 donation to the artist at the door.

Partner in Adventure #03 | Tanish Thakker × Amplify Music Incubator

Some partnerships remind us that wellbeing and creativity were never meant to exist in separate worlds.

Our journey with Tanish and Amplify Music Incubator began in Goa, where Anam Cara became part of their 6-week artist residency, shaping the wellbeing pillar alongside creativity and business.

Tanish brought every evening of our Mellow Sun Mallorca retreat to life, curating and organising all our live music experiences.

From designing the wellness journey during the residency to continuing with 1:1 mentoring and curated sessions for artists, it has been incredibly meaningful to create spaces where artists can pause, reconnect and care for themselves alongside their creative practice.

What makes this partnership special is the openness to experiment, the trust to explore, and a shared belief in creating experiences that leave something behind long after the programme ends.

Grateful for the work, the conversations, the artists we’ve met along the way, and for having Tanish and Amplify in our corner.

And as always, grateful for the adventures still to come. ✨
