Pretty much immediately after i released #thevetivertop I plunged myself straight into developing #thexanelelongs expansion pack (and ignoring Instagram). But today I realised, as The Xanele Longs tester feedback and photos start to trickle in, that I have not yet taken the time / grid space to acknowledge some of my incredible pattern testers without whom my patterns would probably be ill-fitting and the instructions incomprehensible!
I can’t thank these wonderful humans enough 🌟
I’ve just realised that the resolution of some of these photos is not great and does not do justice to their makers. I’m not sure what happened when saving them / rushing to find time to post them, but I think this just serves as confirmation (as if it was needed) of how useless I am at Instagram 😅

This is the kind of top that I would love to wear.

@back.to.stitch posted “This is my second @sewhouse7 #toastersweater which I colour-blocked to use a remnant generously gifted to me by @fivearrowsfabrics in PEI. I was fortunate enough to have a piece of the same French terry in the rust colour. Fate. My first make with this pattern was also made with fabric from Natasha’s lovely shop : an @atelierbrunette organic cotton fleece.”

I am inspired to do some fabric painting looking at this incredible top.

@back.to.stitch posted this last year for #memademay2020 -
“...my linen #quinntop from @stylearc patterns. I had some fabric painting to do for this, due to a shortage of extra fabric - joining the various sections are nicely placed folded strips, to emphasize the design of the top. I only had a brighter natural linen which popped too much, so I lightly coloured with my #inktensepencils until they blended in.
