FIX IT RECORD IS BACK FOR IT’S 8TH EDITION WITH SOME FRESH ELECTRONICS BY @backfromthewave ! LINK IN BIO + TRACKLIST ON SC + COMMENT 🚨

A die-hard activist and music lover, Fred, aka Back From the Wave, devoured the early days of the major electronic music movements: acid house, Detroit techno, house music and French touch, as well as new wave, following bands like Depeche Mode and New Order. At the end of the 90s, he bought his first synthesizers and started composing. Over the years, several multifaceted artistic and musical projects released under different aliases led to signings on renowned French and international labels, including Scandium Records (André Dalcan and Paul Nazca’s label), Goodlife (Oxia and The Hacker’s label) and Rotation (Dave Angel’s label). Since 2019, Back From the Wave has released numerous EPs and remixed tracks for other artists, ranging from electro to EBM, New Beat and indie dance. His music quickly caught the attention of international labels such as Bordello A Parigi, Melodize, Roam Records, Factor City and Ombra International, as well as French labels like Ritmo Fatale, Mélopée Records and, more recently, Space Factory, the label of the talented David Carretta, a legend and pioneer of the electroclash movement in France alongside The Hacker and Miss Kittin. His tracks are played and supported by DJ Hell, Jennifer Cardini, The Hacker, Endrik Schroder, Captain Mustache and Alessandro Adriani, as well as by the younger generation, including Kendal, Bélaria, Mélanie Havens and Andi Alongside his work as a producer, Back From the Wave regularly plays at great venues such as the Cabaret Sauvage in Paris, Le Terminal in Lyon, Le Bikini, the Rockstore and the Rachdingue in Spain. His energetic sets mirror his productions: dancefloor-focused and blending electro, EBM, indie and Italo disco. His perseverance and well-regarded research make him an artist to watch closely.

‘Love Is Not Enough’ is out everywhere.⛓️

Iptamenos Discos welcomes @idoruofficial and @backfromthewave with their banging debut collaboration ‚Love Is Not Enough‘.

What began as a cross-continental exchange of ideas between the Miami based dark electronic artist and the French producer evolved into a club bomb that has already proven its effectiveness on dancefloors around the world over the last few months. With a raw EBM drive, a distorted electroclash leaning bassline and sweet yet haunting vocals, ‚Love Is Not Enough‘ explores the aftermath of a love built on illusion rather than truth.
