French toast as the bun? Yeah, I had to try that. 🤤🍁

Stopped by @backstorycoffee on Saint Paul’s West Side for their French Toast Sandwich! Turkey sausage and sharp cheddar tucked into a sweet and salty spiced maple brioche French toast bun, served with maple syrup on the side. 🔥

I also had their West Cider, a Pumpkin Patch Bash special with apple cider and buttery cinnamon caramel sauce. 🍎🍂 That one escaped the camera, but it still deserves a mention! 😂

So clearly I’ve been slacking on my coffee game but the winner for the best fall coffee in Minneapolis is🥁🥁🥁

Backstory’s pumpkin butter iced latte!!

It really is perfect but my one qualm is the price. Why am I paying $9 for a coffee? Anyways, the flavor is rich and really not that sweet (which I love) and it’s not overly pumpkin-y. I also appreciate the consistency of the coffee:milk ratio.
Shoutout backstory for being the best work from home spot and making the most wonderful coffee. I may be draining my bank account but it’s worth it🕺
