It’s me! I’ve never been so spent skiing. I can’t wait to do it again!

It was a surfs up summer! This last few months have been some crazy transitional months for me! So I’ve been pretty dormant on here living life!
This summer I was super lucky to spend some time by the ocean for an extended period of time which was awesome! As a mountain kid, it was so beautiful to be by the water! Here’s some pics from surfing in…
-Santa Teresa, Costa Rica
-Manzanita, Oregon
-Port Angeles, Washington
Thanks @leahlach for the pics of me!

Well, I've been up to things and finally have some time to put them on IG. Get ready for a bunch of photos from me. Pictured are views from Eisman Hut from this winter.

Nothing like a good rappel, even if it means that you now have to hike 12 miles in a canyon to get out of it! Swipe for a FPV of the rappel as well as: 1. Ari getting a little too close to some wild donkeys, 2. A tired guy looking at some cool pictographs, 3. Our group rejoicing that we made it out, and 4. That we accidentally walked into a National park! Cool stuff!

We went in search for Aaron Ralston’s Arm from 127 hours, ended up getting lost-ish, hiking 15 miles, hitchhiking back to our cars, and then I broke my control arm on my car running off the road going too fast. lesson learned, be ready to loose some sort of arm when exploring the San Rafael Desert!

I cannot get over how terrible the last two weekends have been @silvertonmtn. Want my recommendation? Go to Winter Park, there are more chairlifts! Don’t believe me? Look at my face!

I’m excited for more outings like this. Avi danger is kinda iffy right now so @jeffreyapps0614 and I went on a mission to find a nice place to drink a beer! Great afternoon playing around in the ol’ backyard!

Yesterday was international climbing day! I have never been more happy than when I get to climb. It’s the perfect balance between physical, mental, and social. There is this amazing satisfaction about pulling hard and topping out something you didn’t think was possible. So for anyone who hasn’t climbed or wants to try, hit me up! I want to get out their and spread the enjoyment I get out of it.

(1/3)Last week, some of my good friends I’ve met through my Student Nation “Gästrike-Hälsinge” (basically a Swedish coed fraternity) went on a ski trek in the Swedish backcountry in Grövelsjön, Darlana. The 9 of us skied around 35km and stayed outside two different emergency shelters on our trip. Here’s some great photos from my pal @triompher who took some sick shots of our trip! Check him out! 📸 @triompher

Life Update:
Sweden is warming up to me, literally. It’s been around 3 degrees Celsius (40ish F) and all the snow I was enjoying in Uppsala Sweden strait up left. I was conflicted as this warmth has come with lots of sun! But I miss all the ski trails that have slowly melted to ice. One perk of the warm weather is that most trails are hike-able so it’s been great to do and explore the forests that Sweden offers. So some friends of mine hiked 10km to lake Ekoln which is completely frozen. Swedes here have cross country skates, they are basically like skate skis in the sense you have Nordic boots and bindings, you are just on a ice blade. I really want to try them now! This week I will be in Abisko, Sweden hunting for northern lights and Santa’s workshop. So far no sights of the fat man, just lots of reindeer and coal mines. Swedes must be a naughty group of individuals. More to follow soon!

Throw back to late summer night climbs. This was one of my first experiences climbing at night and I must say that this is going to be something that is definitely going to happen again. Thanks koby for the shot as always! I rarely get photos of me! 📸 @kobysimontonphotography

I love how beautiful this sport is. Tonight in Boulder I went and saw @tommycaldwell movie @dawnwallfilm . The entire movie theater was packed to watch two guys perform the impossible. It was so cool to watch that and it just further drives me to pull hard and to keep pushing. Beautiful movie! Anyone in the Boulder area who hasn’t seen it it’s in theaters for an encore screening tomorrow so go see it! 📸 @carlosds67
