District 18, clear out those old papers and bring them by this Friday!

I’m hosting a FREE Community Shredding Event with @nycsanitation this Friday, September 18 from 9 AM to 12 PM at the intersection of Westchester & Olmstead Avenues — just outside of St. Helena’s Church.

Bring documents you no longer need for secure shredding, and while supplies last, we’ll also have FREE fall leaf bags, DEP rain barriers and Health Bucks available for our neighbors.

RSVP at bit.ly/CD18events or through the link in my bio. Questions? Call my office at 718-792-1140.

Thank you to @nycsanitation for and @nycwater helping us bring these resources directly into the community.

Shubho Noboborsho! 🎉❤️💚

What a joy to celebrate Bangla New Year alongside the vibrant Bangladeshi community at BAFA’s Annual Boishakhi Parade! Our heritage, our language, and our diversity are what make New York truly beautiful.

Thank you to BAFA for always bringing our community together and keeping that spirit alive. Wishing everyone peace, pride, and prosperity in this new season! 🌸
