POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

@lonestarpalengke imprinted so many beautiful memories and connections on my heart that I never want to forget. 💙❤️💛

To everyone who was part of this festival and has made an impact on this day (and in my life), THANK YOU! You made this experience even more meaningful, and I’m so grateful our paths crossed. 🥹✨

These are the stories I’ll be holding close to my heart. 🇵🇭

When people come into your life and make the biggest impact. 💕 No words can come close to what these people have done for Dallas! Such an honor getting to experience this year’s @lonestarpalengke with yall! 💙💛❤️

This is such a special story. Julia became an MD in Cebu and found a residency program in North Texas. She didn’t know anyone here and was looking for community. My mom opened her home and heart to her and helped her during her time here. l invited her to lonestarpalengke to show her the Filipino community in DFW. This is what we do for our kababayans and kapamilya who got the opportunity to come here! And to be honest, I think it’s Dallas who is lucky to have Julia serve as an MD here. She is brilliant! A true beauty and brains! 🌟

ANOTHER crazy story because I didn’t know until AFTER she left but I just met the girl beside me a few hours before this pic. Later in the day, an old coworker of mine who l haven’t seen in years messages me telling me it’s HER DAUGHTER! Ahhh!! If only I got to see her again! It was soo wild! This community is EVERYTHING!

Friends who serve together, shine together. ✨

My wonderful friends were also vendors and staff at this event. I loved getting to see them in their element, serving our community, showcasing their businesses, and absolutely doing their thing. 🥹👏🏼

It’s amazing watching your friends work hard for what they’ve built and seeing them succeed. I’m so proud of each of these women and SO blessed to call them my dear friends. 💚✨

I saw @presslymade walking around with this Bisaya shirt so I had to make a comment. It turns out we’re from the SAME town, Dumaguete! I swear wonders never cease at Lonestarpalengke. Also, their shirts are🔥 and can be custom m

I am at a loss for words to describe @lonestarpalengke.
It was possibly the best day of the year.
I have prayed for a Filipino community in Dallas for YEARS and finally experiencing it was so much more than l imagined.
I am overwhelmed with emotions just thinking about it. 🥹
I’m still riding the high.

My country. 🇵🇭
My people.
All coming together and proudly celebrating our heritage and sharing it with Dallas.
It was so beautiful and wonderful to see! 😭

Words can’t express the gratitude I have for every single one of the people featured here. This isn’t even 1/4 of the festival but I’m just so happy I got to capture so many special moments. This is the true meaning of KAPWA. And I think everyone there experienced it.

Thank you so much, @pacedfw, for allowing me to be a part of it all.

It was a core memory for me.

💙❤️💛

My first public speaking engagement happened at Lamesa! 🥹🎤🇵🇭

I’m incredibly proud, grateful, and honored that my very first opportunity to speak about mental health to the public was entrusted to me by my own Filipino community through @pacedfw.

And honestly? I’m still feeling the aftershocks. 🥹

I was nervous. There were so many things that didn’t go according to plan, and I definitely didn’t feel as prepared as I wanted to be. But I knew exactly what I wanted to create: a safe and open space where people could ask questions, share their experiences, and talk about mental health without judgment.

Because for some people in that room, this may have been the first, or even only, time they’ve ever been given the space to have that conversation.

And then something beautiful happened.
The room filled up. 🥹

For the first workshop of the day, I was surprised by how many people showed up that morning. It was such a powerful reminder that our communities WANT these conversations. People want to learn. They want to understand. They want to know how to better care for themselves and the people they love.

And seeing my family and friends there, especially my @fotr.dfw girls, some of whom drove in from out of town just to support me, meant more than I can put into words. 🥹🫶

I left Lamesa feeling incredibly honored. But more than anything, I left feeling like I had gotten a glimpse of the work I hope to spend my life doing.

Educating. Advocating. Listening. Connecting people to resources. Creating spaces for important conversations. And serving my community.

Thank you, @pacedfw, for giving me my first stage and trusting me with something so meaningful.

I will never forget that my first public speaking engagement began with my own people. 🇵🇭💚

Here’s to the first of many. 🥹✨

Community can look different on the outside but it’s all made up of the same things on the inside.

At its core, community is camaraderie that holds a safe space to connect, find comfort, growth and empower each other.

So honored to celebrate @filipinaontherise @fotr.dfw’s one year anniversary with fellow women making moves towards our personal and professional goals! I’m so proud to say I’m Filipina.

Maraming maraming salamat to @queenchangemaker for rising up for Filipinas in DFW who you didn’t know, but knew we needed this community to come together. @alexalitten and @kat_barcarse for exemplifying sisterhood and stepping up to be co-leads!

Being in the company of these Filipinas warmed my heart and I truly feel like I was at the right place at the right time. So grateful we can just be crazy, loud, loving, and passionate Filipinas together!

There’s something powerful about sharing a meal… especially when it’s done the traditional way 🙌🏽

We had an incredible time at the Kamayan Fundraiser with the Pacific Savages Motorcycle Club — good food, great people, and an even greater purpose.

At PACE, we believe real impact happens when community shows up for community. That’s exactly why we were honored to be part of this event — supporting a cause bigger than ourselves while celebrating culture, connection, and unity.

Huge appreciation to our partner organizations and the leaders who made this possible — the energy in the room said it all. From the shared tables to the shared mission, it was a reminder that when we come together, we can create real change.

Events like this don’t just raise funds… they build relationships, strengthen culture, and leave a lasting impact 💯

Grateful to be part of it. Until the next one 🤝🔥
