POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Our studio got a serious upgrade today… 🌞✨ Island Prep’s 7th and 8th graders joined us for their final field trip and took over the afternoon show, and WOW did they bring the sunshine! They even served as our official judges for Mel’s “Is This News?” segment, and let’s just say Mel’s stories were a HIT. 🙌😂 These future storytellers lit up the room in a way we’ll never forget. 🎬💛

Special thanks to their teacher Alex Hayden and Co-Principal Shannon Darmer for helping make this happen. The future of St. Augustine is BRIGHT, and we got a front-row seat. ☀️

Is it a bird? 🐦 Is it a plane? ✈️ NOPE. IT’S A GIANT SPACE JELLYFISH! 🪼🚀

Good morning, Sunnies! ☀️ If you looked up at sunrise and thought the ocean had launched a jellyfish into orbit… same. 😂

It was actually SpaceX’s Falcon 9 blasting off from the Cape at 6:33 a.m., hauling snacks, science and who knows what else up to the astronauts on the International Space Station. 🧑‍🚀
The sun hit the rocket’s exhaust at just the right angle, and BOOM: the world’s biggest jellyfish floating over the Bridge of Lions. 🌉✨

Don’t worry, no stings were reported. 🪼
📸 HUGE shout out to our Sunny Honey Pattie Kepshire for catching this cosmic sea creature! 🍯☀️ Pattie, you are out of this world.

Did YOU spot the space jelly this morning?

Some voices don’t just speak. They shake the ground beneath you. 💙

This is Alecia Bailey — 2026 ALS Hero, the ALS Association’s highest honor — sharing her heart, her Keith, and her unshakable belief that together, we can end this disease.

In her words: the promise of Project 2420, and the beautiful ALS Walk of St. Augustine that carries it forward. Listen. Feel it. Then answer it.

Every step is a promise. Every sign-up is an act of love. Walk beside Alecia, walk for the families still fighting, and walk toward a world without ALS.

Bring your people. Bring your light. ✨
With respect, love, and light — until there’s a cure. 💙🤍

They said this disease takes everything. The ability to move. To speak. To breathe. And it took her Keith.
But grief is not the end of a woman like Alecia Bailey. It is the beginning.

Because when ALS took her husband, it did not take her fire. She gathered up her heartbreak, and instead of letting it bury her, she planted it. For more than ten years, she has watered that ground with love, with fight, with a refusal to let another family stand in the dark alone. She built the St. Augustine Walk to Defeat ALS from a hope into a movement. She has put equipment into shaking hands and resources into frightened homes. She has stood before lawmakers and made them listen. She turned her sorrow into someone else’s strength.

And this week, the ALS Association named our own Alecia Bailey a 2026 ALS Hero… their HIGHEST honor!!

Understand this, St. Augustine: a hero was never someone who never fell. A hero is the one who falls, and rises anyway, and reaches a hand back into the dark to lift the ones still lying there.
So now she is asking us for one thing. Not pity. Not applause. Just this: SHOW UP.

🌻 SAVE THE DATE 🌻 Walk to Defeat ALS — St. Augustine 📅 Saturday, November 14th ⏰ 8:00 AM 📍 Ripley’s Believe It or Not!, St. Augustine
Come walk beside her. Come honor ALL. Come be the reason a family hears “you are not alone” for the very first time.

This is our city. This is our hero.

Lace up. Show up. And SHOW OUT. 💛👟

💙📚 THE BLUE BIN IS STILL WAITING! 📚💙

Our school supply drive is STILL going strong, and we need your help to keep it that way!

Panache is proud to partner with Tools for Schools, The Bailey Resource Center, and INK! (Investing in Kids) to make sure St. Johns County students have the supplies they need to walk into the classroom ready to learn, grow, and succeed.

We’ve learned there is a BIG need right now for:
📁 Manila file folders
🖊️ Expo dry-erase markers

If you’re out shopping, grab an extra pack (or two 😉) and bring them to Panache! Every donation helps a teacher and student start the year a little more prepared.

💙 Let’s fill that BIG BLUE BIN!
📍Drop off your donations at Panache Salon & Spa.

Thank you to everyone who has already donated and helped us support the kids in our community. Let’s finish this drive STRONG! 🙌

Because when we invest in our kids, we invest in our future. 💙✏️

Every year before school begins, our residential boys are treated to a special awards banquet to celebrate their accomplishments, unique and special talents, and to celebrate how wonderful they are!

This would not be possible without Alecia Bailey, Tammy Morabito, and all of their supporters. This annual tradition that they continue to support helps give our young men something to look forward to and to feel seen and special. This event means the world to us and we are so grateful to Alecia, Tammy, and all of the individuals that made this happen. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! @bailey_group
