Some days are simply too beautiful not to relive. An oceanfront setting, the most beautiful details and a love that feels bigger than words could ever say. From the golden California light to the way that they look at each other like the rest of the world disappears, every moment felt like a little piece of forever. A celebration that will always have our hearts.♥️

Before you fall in love with a venue, ask these questions first:

01. What does the venue fee actually cover?

Make sure you understand what’s included and what will be an additional cost. Analyze hidden fees and make sure to budget properly.

02. How will guests get to and from the venue? Recommended local hotels?

Ask about parking, valet, shuttles, local accommodations, and anything your guests will need to know.

03. Are you able to bring in your own vendors?

Some venues have preferred vendor lists or restrictions, so it’s worth clarifying before you book.

04. Who will actually be there on the wedding day?

Find out what on-site coordination is provided and where their responsibilities end. Do they require an outside Coordinator or Planner?

05. How much time will you have for vendor setup and breakdown? & How much time for photos?

Your timeline can look very different depending on how much access you actually have.

06. What happens if your guest count changes?

Ask how an increase or decrease in guests could affect your layout, catering, or overall cost. What is your required minimum spend before taxes/fees?

07. What is the plan if the weather doesn’t cooperate?

A beautiful outdoor ceremony is great — but you’ll want to know what Plan B actually looks like for your guest count.

08. How much freedom do you have with the design?

Ask what you can customize, what restrictions exist, and which elements are already built into the space.

09. If you have any non-negotiables, ask about them! Are you wanting a sparkler exit or a very specific signature cocktail? Make sure to ask what’s possible!

The right venue should work for your wedding, not the other way around! 💕

Coastal light, sunset ceremony, rich pre-fall florals, and an evening curated like a European art exhibition. Kaylie and Byron’s wedding at the Paséa was pure art in motion from start to finish.

Pretending to paint the whole wedding sounds more exhausting than actually painting 🥴
Apparently this is something you should be on the lookout for if booking a live wedding painter.

This was truly a wild time live-painting custom racing silks onto hats for the Keeneland Championship Sale last year. Painting on leather is surprisingly more difficult than you’d think! 🏇 #keenelandsales

After bringing countless weddings to life, planner Samantha finally planned her own special day with her high school sweetheart Ryan. After 10 years of dating, Samantha arrived home at one in the morning to an intimate proposal with candles and rose petals scattered across the couple’s newly purchased home.
With more than six years of wedding planning experience, she set out to bring her and Ryan’s vision to life. Inspired by a romantic, Tuscan-style aesthetic, the pair chose a soft, warm color palette of lush floral arrangements that featured some of the bride’s favorites—white peonies, ranunculus and blush garden roses.
After working behind the scenes on so many “I do’s,” Samantha found herself falling in love with her work all over again. She shares, “What might feel like just a job rooted in timelines and design now feels even more deeply connected to love, legacy and presence.”

When Keeneland came to me to design the second ever celebration party ahead of the Breeders cup, the vision was simple: create an experience worthy of the occasion.

Guest flew in from around the world— here to bid on the horses with direct ties to the Breeders Cup past champions. The year before, we had 250 guests this year we had over 300! It was the place to be!

The venue- the Del Mar Paddock. The vision- build a tiny city

We had a coffee store front, a movie theatre, a park, and a menu designed to surprise people when they took a bite! Popcorn chicken was made from real popcorn with a tangy sauce on top, caviar was served on branded crackers and bao buns that stopped conversations with one bite.

The design had to feel homey and familiar to a world that is around horse racing all the time And elevated enough to celebrate those who purchased beautiful horses and were there to begin their breeders cup weekend.

We brought in a team that was trusted, great to work with, and were truly excited to be there. We also heavily relied on this team to set up a massive event like this in just 3 hours.

Events like these remind me why I love my job. It’s not just the logistics or the decor, but it’s the full experience you go through from start to finish. Designed for guests who expect extraordinary and that is exactly what they got. #
