oh boy how i have dreaded this last Costa Rica post… I am not sad because it ended, but I’m happy because it happened. This foreign encounter has truly changed my life in ways I still can’t comprehend. I have been able to grow in my faith, the way I lead others, the way I lead myself, and how i grew as a person. Starting from the basic fundamentals of leadership to adventures and to service with those who aren’t as fortunate. The girls I met through this journey will continue to remain in my thoughts as well as ruminate through lifelong friendships. Thank you to all of you beautiful and kind young woman who helped to make this event so special, fun, and memorable 💗. lastly want to thank @beyondsportstours for giving me this magical and moving 10-day experience!!

first thing i want to thank my coach @vin.kenmorebarbell for making this all possible! Not even just with his strength coaching the past 2+ years but also just being the person that lead me into this community of the IPF/PA im so so grateful it’s been the highlight of my past few years and definitely my future. also thank you to my gym community for always supporting me love yall!!!! @texasironrepublicgym

as some of yall know i was supposed to be in south africa for IPF worlds this year but plans fell through 😪but i believe everything happens for a purpose and i was supposed to compete at NAPF this year and Im so happy i did! this competition really made me realize the potential i can have in this sport when i actually start believing in the strength God’s given me. it’s always always for HIS purpose that HIS will be done.

- 176kg/388lbs NEW WORLD RECORD🌎 (+0.5kg)

bench 3/3
- 96kg/211lbs new north american record!

deadlift 2/3 genuinely dont even get me started at the biggest fumble that was taken place here ✋
so i was pulling my third deadlift for 1. a world record deadlift (197kg/434lbs) and 2. a total world record(469kg/1034lbs)
and it was a huge personal pr for me (+7kg) and it moved really easy imo BUT we got called for hitching 😃so fumbled TWO world records and being ranked #1 globally as the best sbjr 63 OAT 😃

anyways im very grateful for this opportunity and thank you to all the coaches, handlers, and staff that made this all happen!!!🇺🇸

not super happy with how this meet went, i was expecting much more out of deadlift with my pain resolving. yet, winning my first international competition at 16 years old is something to be insanely proud of. i would like to thank my family for bringing me all the way here, especially my sister who has supported me nonstop in prep. i would also like to thank my coach @gavin_morawetz72 for being lenient with my injury all of nats and napf prep, as well as all the USA coaches for supporting me nonstop the whole day. lastly i would like to thank all my fellow sbjr usa girls for creating a supportive and fun environment all day ❤️.

August kicks off an incredibly exciting month for Palmyra-Eagle Powerlifting!

This weekend, Senior, Bailey LeRoy is heading to St. John’s, Canada and will represent Team USA at the 23rd Annual NAPF North American Women’s Classic Regional Powerlifting Championships on August 4th competing in the 57kg Sub-Junior weight class.

Bailey earned the opportunity to compete on the international stage after placing first in her weight class at Powerlifting America High School Nationals in Omaha, NE in April.

I’ve had the privilege of watching Bailey grow, both as an athlete and as a person. It’s been fun to see all of the opportunities she’s had this summer that have come from the work she has put in over the years in everything she does!

Good luck, Bailey! Your Palmyra-Eagle family will be cheering you on from home. 💜🐾

Stay tuned for later in August when recent 2026 graduate, Arden Hyatt will compete at IPF World Women’s Sub-Junior Classic Powerlifting Championship in Sun City, South Africa.

I’m so thankful for @beyondsportstours for this life changing experience and @bryanvikingvolleyball for giving me the opportunity to go! I’ll never forget these people and the impact they have made on my life: mentors, children, the volleyball team, bus drivers ;), and most importantly my glassmates. My life was transformed in 10 days and that is such a crazy thing to experience. I will forever be grateful for anyone who had anything to do with this trip. Costa Rica, you will be missed. ¡Pura Vida!🇨🇷🤍
