“I was scrolling through Facebook when I saw it: A NZ Herald article stating that my family feared I would never walk again.”

@bailleyunahi was crushed under a balcony at a Six60 concert in Dunedin. She found out that she wouldn’t be able to walk again after waking up from surgery and seeing an article about it on Facebook.

I FOUND OUT I’D NEVER WALK AGAIN THROUGH THE NEWS.

Last year we had the pleasure of working with Bailley Unahi, as she told the story of being crushed under a balcony at a concert, and how she found out she’d never walk again - through Facebook.

END OF WINTER!! AWESOME PERSON ALERT!!! At RMA we have been blessed with incredible volunteers. Time to highlight a few starting with the incredible Dwight Berstrom. Dwight gave many days this winter to support our many ski programs and share his passion for skiing and ski racing, bringing smiles and enthusiasm each day while guiding skiers with vision impairments, assisting sit skiers and also lugging race gates and setting courses. It’s people like Dwight that enable charities to make the magic happen. @Dwightbergstrom we salute you and all you do.
