Let’s debunk some myths about WCPC.

Myth #1:
WCPC is only interested in “saving the baby”.

Truth #1:
WCPC is pro - women. We strive to educate, equip and empower woman and men through our many services provided before, during and after pregnancy. Our services (all free of charge) include STI testing, pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, childbirth education classes, parenting classes, and community resources.

Myth #2:
WCPC is a fake health clinic.

Truth #2:
WCPC is a nationally accredited ambulatory health care facility, accredited by AAAHC. We have two Medical Directors who are in good standing with WA State as well as three RN’s trained in healthcare related to pregnancy and STI services. Our Childbirth Educator is certified through Lamaze.

Myth #3:
WCPC uses high-pressure tactics along with shame and lies to emotionally blind-side their clients.

Truth #3:
“Everyone here was so, so kind to me and just very non-judgmental at all.”
“I felt respected.”
“They made me feel safe.”
“Everyone is very supportive and respectful.”
“Everyone was very kind, professional and helpful.”
“The staff was very friendly, educated, and helpful.”

The book Having a Baby & Other Things I’m Bad At by author @bailshenry chronicles her struggles with infertility & miscarriage in a raw, honest, and open style that makes you feel like you’re talking to your bestie! She’s such a great storyteller! ⁣

She wrote this book to open up discussion about infertility and miscarriage so that all women can be supportive & informed & understanding about the issue without being afraid to openly discuss it. She lives near me so I’m hoping to connect with her IRL one day soon! 💗

If a launch party fills the room with some of the most incredible women on earth, I’ll throw one once a month 🤣🤩 My favorite part of yesterday was the ten times I heard “gosh, I really needed this!”. I realized that we don’t gather enough anymore. Whether it’s that we’ve let busyness hijack our calendars, social media create a false sense of connection (this has my vote), or that a global p@ndemic turned our worlds upside down — we just don’t carve out time for connection.

Season 2 of @whatthefertilitypod is in the works as I soak in the last few weeks of my maternity leave. Looking back on the last year, I am SO PROUD of Amanda + myself for the consistency and dedication we put into creating this passion project. We finished Season 1 with 30 episodes, 21,763 listeners, 77% impactful plays (retention rate), and have listeners in 51 countries! ✨

Whew. Five years of the BEST and so much good…AND the hardest ride going from pregnancy to postpartum to breastfeeding and then starting over to do it all again. It’s been a wonderful time, but I see the light at the end of the tunnel and I know I’ll start to feel more like myself again soon 🤍 honestly, I don’t really even remember what that feels like completely but she’s in there!
