There’s hardly ever a perfect time to start that new thing you’ve always wanted to do. And if we wait long enough, we will never start.

I talked about this with @baitboyspodcast and I told them the honest truth. How did I get started? How do I continue to grow? I fake confidence.

Yeah, that’s right 😂 I pretend that I’m confident in new and uncomfortable situations, and you know what? I end up leaving that new experience WITH confidence.

All of this to say that starting anything new can be scary. But do it anyway. Because when you do something you’re afraid of, you leave that experience more confidence simply because you did it. I promise.

Want to hear more about my experiences as a new baitmaker? Head over to @baitboyspodcast and click their link in bio to hear the newest episode ‘Just Peachy’ where I had the honor of being their guest.

Winter fishing can get tough in a hurry, and that’s exactly why the Ned head earned RBP’s Pick of the Week. When the bite slows down and fish get picky, sometimes the best move is to go small, simple, and patient. This little setup keeps you getting bites when everything else feels quiet.

I broke down why this bait works so well in cold water and the best locations to fish it on the Bait Boys Podcast.

If you want to see the full RBP’s Pick of the Week segment, make sure you check out the latest episode of the @baitboyspodcast with special guest @baitchuckin.

Who else leans on the Ned rig when the temperature drops?
