Yes it’s just a bike but hear me out.

I’ve always had a thing. Skateboards, bikes, golf, sports. An outlet.

This is my old bike. I’m not sentimental about stuff but this bike has accompanied me on some incredible adventures, introduced me to a whole new world and an awesome community of people. I have achieved and done some pretty cool things in the last few years, both on the bike and in my everyday life. Things I never thought I could do. It’s pushed me to push myself towards growth.

This bike has driven all of that. I’m not the same person I was when I bought it.

It’s my birthday today 🎉 (30). I’m not a big birthday person but this one feels different. It feels like the start of a new chapter. The chapter that’s closing has been incredible.

Thanks to all of the people who have been along for the ride both on and off the bike, especially my wife @kirsten.erasmus , who is my biggest supporter and backs me in everything, even riding around on a bicycle in lycra. She is amazing.
