A couple of years ago I was introduced to an awesome woman who also happened to be a Jain monk.

She and her friend @sadhvianubhuti were producing a docuseries called “Balance” which has now been released and is a hit.

It focuses on the lack of research and data on perimenopause, menopause, and hormone replacement. Not what you would expect monks draped in white robes to be doing :)

I just sat down with them to talk about their journey becoming monks and documentary filmmakers.

@siddhalishree took the trauma and horror of her military experience and turned it into such good and light .

This Monday, we’re opening up a conversation that doesn’t get talked about nearly enough.

BALANCE: A Perimenopause Journey is a powerful 4-part docuseries challenging the silence, stigma and misinformation around perimenopause.

We’ll screen Episode 1 on Monday, Sept. 14 at 7 PM, followed by an open panel discussion with two incredible local medical professionals:
