Who remembers when we rescued Sweet Pea from the Baldwin Park shelter? She was ready to be euthanized just before Fourth of July because she was terrified and mean. We planned on a long decompression time, but she shocked us all and started licking faces in the car on the way home. Now Sweet Pea needs an echocardiogram and it's quite costly. Poor Xavier is not doing well. He’s got skin issues, nose fungus, infections all over, but what’s costing us the most is the pneumonia he has from the kennel cough contracted at the shelter. He’s coughing up blood and it’s hard for him to breathe. We’re looking to fundraise $1000 for his hospital stay. Can you help? Even $1 towards his care will make a difference. And then, we were 3️⃣ —— Everyone, meet BETTE.

🐶 Bette is just 6 months old and was found living on the streets with a broken leg. I’ve cried a hundred times since she got here yesterday when I think of the things she’s already had to face alone. But I’m happy & humbled that I now get to adopt her and be her Dada. BIG shout out to my bestie @chrhud who’s supported me in getting Bette settled in with Belle.

🙏 HUGE thanks and gratitude to @baloojasfoundation for saving, fixing and caring for her until now. @salvalde , Jer, Katie, Michael - you are earth angels.

When I tell u it’s NEVER A DULL MOMENT around here… I’m not being dramatic 🤣🤣🤣

MY PERSONAL/official theme song 🎶 needs to be @taylorswift “Hi it’s me… I’m the problem, it’s me!!!” because I clearly do this 2 myself and LOVE ❤️ every second of it, even when I’m exhausted & rude 🤪 (Also John-a-Finn 🐶doesn’t appreciate the lap sharing AT ALL)

The cleft baby needs to be TUBE FED every 2-3 hours, so sleep 💤 is not exactly plentiful these days. Cleft Palate babies have about a 30% chance of survival so Dumplin 🥟 needs as much love ❤️ & good vibes 🫶✨ sent her way, that u can possibly muster up!! She’s been here almost a week, but I needed 2 talk 2 her for a few days and explain how this relationship is going to work: I will do everything I can… and she has 2 promise 2 get BIG & STRONG 💪💜 We start our morning with affirmations after her 1st feeding of the day… what started as “You is kind, you is smart & you is important,” from the movie 🍿 The Help, has now evolved into something different each day, along the lines of “You is thick, you’s a baddie & you got this 💪”

We did a joint rescue with Baloojas Foundation for the litter of pups 🐶 I wish we knew more, but only that they were brought to the shelter without a mom & their eyes recently opened. That’s not much, but they are so sweet & so tiny for 4-5 weeks 😳 Seeing them in a video never does justice to size in person. I’d say they’re about the size of a soda can right now. Small enough to put in a coffee cup ☕️😍

So along with all the other crazy kids that we have here… these 4 fresh additions are filling the house 🏠 with adorableness & joy ❤️❤️❤️

You know I’ll post them like crazy so stay tuned & brace yourself for PUPPY SPAM 🤣🤣🤣

🐶 We’re putting so many of the supplies to use that you all sent us for the last puppies we were tube feeding ❤️ and we’re so grateful for these items!!! ⭐️ I’ve added some supplies we can use right now for these pups to a WISHLIST in our Linktree 🔗 titled “PUPPY WISHLIST”
