Isla Vista —> Santa Cruz
Though monarch butterflies are a staple to Goleta, they’re indigenous all throughout California! Monarch butterflies becoming endangered is an issue everyone should care about, from Santa Barbara to Santa Cruz and beyond 🦋🌲🚙

FIRST. OVERNIGHT. OF. WINTER. QUARTER.

Dusty pictures for a dusty time in Joshua Tree. 12 members led by an awesome girl crew: @emilie.difede @nellaeissej @lizardqueen04. Ryan Mountain (5,457 ft), Skull Rock, 29 Palms, Cottonwood Spring Oasis, and Hidden Valley Trail were just some of the sites our members got to explore.

Climbing of course, rock scrambling of course, and Pink Floyd themed stargazing out of left field. Shooting stars galore in a moonless sky.

Word on the block was that staffer @emilie.difede brought homemade chili to enjoy over campfire games on the second night. By the end, strangers turned friends and nights ended with singing around the fire, WHAT MORE COULD YOU ASK FOR?!
