Some Project Runway S22 bts…. 7 weeks I’ll always remember

We actually sketched our finale collections in time square

Daddy @jdoan96 took care of us even when we begged him for dumb things like movies and going to get massages and wine

What an extraordinary culinary journey. 🥂

16 magnificent courses, beautifully accompanied by a wine pairing, through Örigin of Taste, the new tasting menu at Ö by Hoang Tung in Saigon.
✨
Each course begins with an ingredient rooted somewhere in Vietnam, transformed through Chef Tung’s extraordinary creativity and contemporary technique. And visually, every plate was its own little work of art.
✨
There were so many standouts, from Can Tho ambarella with otoro, to Ly Son black garlic with Carabinero, Hai Duong garlic sprig with toothfish, and the phenomenal Hung Yen galangal with Satsuma Gyu A5+.
✨
Even the details told a story. The Satsuma Gyu was served with special steak knives embellished with repurposed remnants of wartime shell casings, an incredibly powerful touch.
✨
Ö is the latest creation from my friend, acclaimed Chef Hoang Tung, and this may be some of his most exciting work yet.

Just when I thought this journey couldn’t get any more meaningful, @projectrunway gave me a family I’ll cherish forever. I’m endlessly grateful to be part of the @projectrunway family, and even more grateful for this beautiful extended family I’m forever bonded with. I love all of you to the moon and back, and I’m beyond excited for everything we’ll create together because this is truly only the beginning. Season 22, that’s a wrap!!!

last night was the season 22 finale of project runway, and i couldn’t be more proud to have been a part of this incredible legacy! i had to make another post!

congratulations to jude on his well-deserved win!!! 🏆 and congratulations to all of the amazing designers who worked so hard, took risks, and brought so much creativity, passion, and individuality to this journey through the zipper wall. <3
