Monday Night Live and the last day of summer with Miles and his siblings and cousins for his 2nd birthday! This little Virgo is truly the cherry on top of our beautifully chaotic lives and we had the best time celebrating him. I can’t believe this will be the last 2nd birthday I’ll get to celebrate as a mommy but I’m so excited to watch my baby boy continue to grow and light up be world.

There’s something special about still being able to have this much fun together after all these years. Random date nights, singing the wrong lyrics completely off key, laughing way too hard, and enjoying every single minute because… WE HAVE A SITTER.

I did a thing that I am extremely proud of. This year I stepped to the side and moved out of my way. I played the role of Taylor in a short film “Tell Me, Where Do We Stand?” and I am so proud of myself.

You probably couldn’t guess, but I’d much rather be in the background. Every day I asked myself what would possess me to agree to be on a screen where people can watch me. What if I forgot my lines? Seeing AND hearing myself on camera…WHOA!!! Tooooo much!! I don’t even leave voicemails.

This year I’m asking myself “But what if it all works out?” I’m learning that it’s okay to be uncomfortable and that I can do hard things.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you to everyone that came out. My heart was literally bursting with joy. I was asking myself if I was really about to be sitting up in this premiere crying. I’m a crier, yes, absolutely. S/o to y’all for listening to me cry before I could even get there🤣. Thank you for putting my name in the conversation. Thank you for pulling up and reading lines with me. Thank you for reminding me to be easy on myself. Thank you for supporting me. Thank you for cheering for me. Thank you for loving me 🫶🏽
