A little seat, some planks, and core work that came with a complimentary earthquake.

The shakes were aggressive. The confidence was wildly misplaced.

10/10. Would do it again. 💀

Bar Method Pilates for the win.

Apparently my glutes and I have very different opinions on what constitutes an emergency. 💀

Just another day pushing the limit in Bar Method Pilates. It really is unlike anything else.

Don’t believe me? Come try it. My treat. I dare you.

The best part of my job has nothing to do with the workout.

It’s knowing that for some people, this is the best hour(ish) of their day. A place to show up exactly as they are, leave everything else at the door, feel strong, supported and that they belong.

I don’t take that privilege lightly. ♥️

And yes, I’ll still make you hold that final 20. 😉

Pretzel was already rude enough on its own. Then Bar Method decided to add a TRX resistance band.

Because apparently, we needed to make things worse.

Those shakes? That’s your muscles working overtime. Intentional movement. Serious strength. No mercy.

Every conference has a table that makes you wonder how these people are allowed to run businesses.

Apparently, we found ours. 💀😂

All jokes aside, San Antonio was an incredible few days of learning, laughing, connecting, and celebrating the people who make The Bar Method what it is.

There’s something pretty special about being surrounded by people who understand the work, the challenges, and the absolute chaos of studio ownership.

Grateful for this community, the friendships, and a conference that reminded us why we do what we do.

Until next time. If we’re invited back, that is. 😜

Pink on the course, purpose behind every swing! 💗⛳️

An amazing turnout made our 9 & 18 Hole Ladies’ Fall Tournament/Closing Day such a fun way to wrap up the season! Everyone wore pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, bringing our OLCC golf community together for a meaningful cause.

A portion of the day’s raffle proceeds will be donated on behalf of the OLCC Women’s Golf Association to Michelle’s Love, a local nonprofit supporting single mothers undergoing cancer treatment. Through housing payments, meal deliveries, and home cleanings, they give moms more time to heal and be with their children.

Thank you to everyone who participated and supported this special day! 💕 Share your favorite memory from the tournament in the comments!

Bar Method Pilates.

We start controlled. We build. We add resistance. We keep climbing.

And then somewhere near the top, things escalate.

Think mountain climb, except the final push is abs, your legs are shaking, and apparently we’re sprinting to the peak.

Bar Method Pilates. Come for the control. Stay because leaving mid-class would be weird. 😌

Did we plan to take Pilates together? No.
Did I clean my camera lens first? Also no.
Did that stop me from filming? Absolutely not. 😂

Sometimes you get the shot. Sometimes you get what appears to be security footage of a really good Bar Method Pilates class.

We work with what we have. 💀

It’s the innocent-looking ones that get you. 💀

No momentum. No rushing through it. Just slow, controlled movement and muscles working a whole lot harder than this looks.

Bar Method Pilates. This is your sign to come try it.

Bar Method Pilates has a special way of making tiny movements feel VERY personal. 😂 Resistance bands + slow, controlled movement + that signature Bar Method precision = humbled.

If you know, you know. And if you don’t… come find out. 👀

Apparently my fave thigh exercise wasn’t hard enough 😉
Add a resistance band and suddenly we’ve got a whole new situation 🔥

Bar Method Pilates is officially here - familiar exercises, entirely different challenge.

Lake Oswego, come see what the hype is about. 👀

Ready for a scorching ab workout?

Bar Method Pilates is here and it’s 🔥🔥🔥

The class your core has been waiting for. It’s the perfect complement to other Bar Method formats and you’ll leave knowing you were efficient with your time.

And can we talk about our core for a minute?

Because I don’t want you thinking “strong core” = six-pack abs. That’s not what I’m talking about.

I’m talking about the kind of strength that helps you feel stable, supported, balanced, and capable in your body.

The kind that helps you carry the groceries, lift your suitcase, get up off the floor, protect your back, move better in your workouts, and feel more confident in your body.

Which is why I’m so excited about this new format @barmethodlo

Think reformer-style exercises + exclusive TRX resistance bands + controlled movement + a LOT of core work.

And as someone is dealing with second-day soreness from this, I can tell you: it’s a GOOD workout. 🔥

But more importantly, it’s another way to build the kind of strength I want for myself (and for all my besties).

Not smaller. Stronger. 💪
