Thanks Monty for being there on Gardeners World for over 20 years🙏

Fabulous gardening inspiration every Friday evening right in our living rooms, we will miss you!

Everyone’s wondering who could fill those impressive shoes?

What do you think ?

Slightly worrying, I hadn’t realised I was a Gardeners World stalker until I looked at all the photos 📸😂😂

It's not just humans that find the heat too much. The heatwave causes a lot of stress for the bees 🐝 by exhausting them and damaging the flowers they rely on.

🌿 Dziki ogród – sielanka czy szkoła przetrwania? 🦔🐦

Często zachwycamy się wizją naturalnego ogrodu pełnego śpiewu ptaków i feerii barw. Ale czy jesteśmy gotowi na to, co kryje się w zaroślach? 😉

Prawda bywa brutalna (a czasem mocno swędząca!): meszki i komary, karczowniki oraz inni nieproszeni goście.

Czy zatem warto? Zdecydowanie TAK! ❤️

Just a gentle reminder to check your window sills in the summer for lost, confused and exhausted bees.

If you look close enough there's a little life lesson too– kindness for small things is a mirror to how we treat others and ourselves.

I finally got a decent up close view— and it was stunning to see 🐝💖

Today I learned about a cast swarm!

This is my second swarm of the season😅

Tbh, I'm a little under prepared... Found an impromptu bee mentor and I have a bit more energy to tackle this situation!

Too late to celebrate bee day ?!

What is a cast swarm ?

A cast swarm is a secondary swarm that leaves the hive after the prime swarm.

It usually contains one or more virgin queens rather than the old laying queen.

Cast swarms are often smaller, lighter, and more chaotic in flight.

They happen when the colony is still overcrowded or multiple queens emerge at once.

The journey continues xx

Let's keep going ! Maude fighting 💪

LOOK 👀 at this bee 🐝 supping the water. I had only just watered the garden when I noticed the bee hopping on the flower to drink the water 💧

Water is essential for bees for a whole heap of reasons.

Thanks to people like @davidattenborough who have given us a better understanding of how important bees are to our planet 🌍

I'm going to set up a bee drinking station in my garden today 🐝🐝

Love how the garden is coming alive again as a pollinator highway 🐝🐝🐝

They were loving the potato Vine 💜 this morning. I could hear the gentle humming from the other side of the garden so of course had to investigate 💛🖤 such special little creatures!
