FREE FILM OF THE MONTH — JUNE

In honour of Pride Month, our Film of the Month is MIRROR MIRROR (2006). Heavily indebted to Jean Rouch’s work (mainly 1961’s CHRONIQUE D’UN ÉTÉ), MIRROR MIRROR was created as a joint project with the thesis ‘Queer Giving’ by Zemirah Moffat. The researcher and director explains that the film “is the material realisation of a practice-led research project into contemporary radical queer ways of being”.

Head to our website to watch the film for FREE (using the code Wotever) and read the supporting essay by Mateus Nagime!

Shout out to the UK's most popular gender neutral bathroom

But for real if you haven't already, lobby your local MP, check in on your trans friends, accompany them to the bathroom if it helps. I can't believe I wrote this parody 3 years ago and the only things I've needed to change is the names of the politicians mentioned

I'm also very grateful to @barwot for giving me the opportunity to host on Friday, it's one of the first shows I did early in my drag career so it feels like such a lovely full circle moment
