Care-Verantwortung wird im Kunstbetrieb immer noch nicht selbstverständlich mitgedacht.
Unser diesjähriges Programm rückt den Fokus auf die Macht der Vielen – auf die vielfältigen
Netzwerke und Projekte, die sich für Geschlechtergerechtigkeit und Sichtbarkeit von
Kunstarbeitenden mit Sorge-Verantwortung einsetzen. Auf diskursive, künstlerische und
aktivistische Weise wird das Spannungsfeld von Kunst, Care und Prekarität beleuchtet.
Gemeinsam wollen wir durch Ausstellung, Netzwerktreffen, Podiumsdiskussion und dem Fanzine Sorgearbeit sichtbarer machen und Infrastrukturen der Fürsorge schaffen, die auf
Solidarität und Gleichberechtigung beruhen.

ENG Care responsibilities are still not systematically considered and tended to in the arts
sector. This year’s program shifts the focus to the power of the many—on the diverse
network and feminist projects that tirelessly advocate for gender equality and the visibility of
artists with caregiving responsibilities. Through discursive, artistic, and activist approaches,
we examine the intersections of art, care, and precarity. By fostering gatherings and
exchanges, we aim to create feminist synergies to break down structural exclusions and
establish care-sensitive measures as the new standard in the cultural sector. Together,
through an exhibition, a networking event, a panel discussion, and a fanzine, we seek to
make care work more visible and build caring infrastructures that are rooted in solidarity and
equity.

Das Netzwerktreffen vereint erstmals Künstler*innen und Aktivist*innen aus Deutschland und der Schweiz, um unser feministisches Netzwerk für Geschlechtergerechtigkeit und Elternfreundlichkeit in der Kunstwelt zu stärken. Im Fokus steht die Frage: „Wer kümmert sich um die Kunstschaffenden, die sich um andere kümmern?“

sofreh — gathering and eating together is a deeply rooted ritual, an essential element of our social community that creates identity. preparing, serving and sharing food connects us and creates intimate spaces for exchange. on a sofreh, a traditional tablecloth that is usually spread out on a carpet, meals are prepared and eaten together, ensuring that everyone has enough and no one is excluded. deeply rooted in my own upbringing, i think about the times we had a sofreh at my aunts house in northern iran, i think about how special it felt to eat on the floor, with everyone gathered around. i remember my eyes wandering and discovering so many dishes on so many plates, the fresh herbs and pickled vegetables, the stews, fried fish and rice, the laughter and wisdom of family members that are no longer with us, the playful fights over who gets the last spoon of this special fragrant eggplant/sour pomegranate/walnuts,garlic, goldpar and herb sauce called vingumanar… i cry thinking about it. full of gratitude this sofreh honors these memories. till we meet again 🤍🧿

🔸Öffentliches Tagesfestival, kuratiert von Anna Breit @anabreit und Pia Heer @piaheer, @based_on_gathering, mit Catwings Space, Roxana Rios und Emilia Schlosser.

Im gemeinsamen, prozessorientierten Forschen untersuchen wir, wie Fürsorge eine Form künstlerischer Praxis sein kann und wie wir diese im profitzentrierten Kapitalismus navigieren. Wie wollen wir miteinander in Beziehungen treten? Wie können wir Räume zugänglich für viele Personengruppen machen? Wie kann Kulturarbeit unabhängig von Ausbeutung und Leistungsdruck funktionieren, nachhaltig sein und marginalisierte Gruppen nicht ausschließen? Wie können wir vom Individuum in eine Politik des Kümmerns, Tauschens, Teilen shiften, die alle Aspekte unserer Leben nachhaltig beeinflusst?
