I am beyond excited and grateful to announce my commitment to the admissions process at Bates College to continue my academic and athletic career!

First and foremost, I want to thank God for guiding me throughout this journey and blessing me with the opportunity to pursue my dreams. I am so grateful for all of the gifts and opportunities He has given me.

To my mom, dad, and brother, thank you for your endless love, support, and sacrifices. Thank you for always believing in me and being by my side through every high and low. I truly could not have done this without you!

To my teammates, thank you for the memories, support, and friendships that have made this journey so special.

A huge thank you to Coach Mark, Coach Anna, and the Peru Coaching Staff for your guidance, support, and belief in me. I am so grateful for everything you have done to help me grow both on and off the field.

Finally, thank you to Coach McKay for believing in me and giving me this incredible opportunity. I am so excited for this next chapter and can’t wait to call Bates home!

Go Bobcats! 🖤❤️

The @batessoftball team’s grade-point average of 3.86 is the highest in all of NCAA Division III‼️ Announced by @nfcaorg.

“This is all them,” head coach Kat McKay said. “Last year, we finished third in Division III, and this group saw that as a challenge. They showed up, put in the work, and brought the same effort, discipline, and commitment to the classroom that they bring to the field every day. To now be the top academic team in the country is something really special, and I couldn’t be prouder to be their coach.”

Bates is the only NESCAC school in the top 10 of Division III, as University of Hartford (3.818), Pomona-Pitzer (3.799), Johnson & Wales University (R.I.) (3.782), and Wheaton College (Mass.) (3.771) round out the top five.

Not surprisingly, the entire roster of 17 Bates softball players all earned Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors for the 2025-26 academic year. The award is bestowed by the NFCA upon college softball players who post a 3.5 or higher grade-point average.

Led by McKay, Bates continues to thrive on and off the diamond, as the Bobcats celebrated 50 years of Bates softball this past spring and are coming off a 17-win season and a NESCAC tournament bid.

I have been working on being patient and letting the ball travel before I go up to frame the ball. This was a video catching a bullpen for one of my High School Pitchers working on her Skrew/Curve/Rise.

I had the opportunity to travel to Washington DC to take part in the @headfirstsoftball showcase camp. Headfirst brings coaches from highly academic schools to evaluate softball players that have a goal of attending an Ivy League or an elite academic program.

It was such a pleasure connecting with various coaches, meeting athletes from across the nation, and showcasing my skills! I’m so thankful for the great experience. 🙌
