I’m going to be running a drop-in workshop next weekend as part of Physical Connections at the Roper Gallery!

Drop in any time between:
Sat 9th/Sun 10th 1-4pm
Mon 11th 2:30-4:30pm

The workshop plan (swipe for examples!)
1. look over photographs of groupings of discarded/everyday/overlooked objects
2. choose some forms from the photo(s) to abstract through drawing
3. browse the materials to select ones that relate to these forms
4. experiment with assembling a sculpture that expresses the collection of objects
6. complete the sculpture using methods such as balance, wire wrapping, hand stitching etc

You are free to take your sculpture with you, or display in the gallery for the duration of the exhibition!

Any questions, please let me know🌟

Last weekend, we held our annual Open Studios event which was a great success. We'd like to thank you all for your attendance and support. Our annual fundraising silent auction with @artatruh has been our most successful yet, raising over £7000 which will be split between the artists and our two charities. You can still catch the successful BAS pop-up exhibition at the @thedrawingroomsbath which has been extended until the end of October.
