@cityofsanjose

The City Of San Jose council members and district leaders have proposed a new plan in hopes to reduce the number of traffic fatalities and deaths occurring city wide . In the span of the last 10 months there has been 41- traffic / vehicle related fatalities in San Jose with speed and driving under the influence being a big factor into these fatal collisions. Speed cameras have been installed through-out the city at various traffic lights and intersections , mainly in areas with more frequent collisions. Tickets are not expected to be given out until the start of February 2027 , and ticket prices range from $50-$500 depending on your speed . What do you all think !? Do you think this would be a productive methods to reduce the amount of fatalities and traffic collisions on our San Jose streets !?
